My friend is leaving for the Air Force tommorow

Postby Hitokiri » Mon Dec 13, 2004 8:48 am

One of my close, life-long friends will be leaving to go to basic training for the Air Force tommorow. We've been friends as long as I can remember so it's kinda hard to leave him but this is life-long dream to go into the air force. I'm proud yet sad of his going. Please pray for protection for him as well his family, friends, and his girlfriend. Also that I find someone to help with offeratory (me and him handle the youth section of the sanctuary).

Oh a little background info is that he is not going to be a pilot but he's gonna be helping with maintenance on the planes and refueling them.

I will certainly be praying for him and his safety. Also, I will pray for your youth section. It's hard to see one of your best friends leave or move away. I've had quite a bit of my friends move long distance (some out of state) to attend college. So I know how depressing that can be-- to have a friend move/leave. Stay strong and I hope you will feel better soon.
