How much sleep do you guys get?

Talk about anything in here.

My sleep hours when I have to work are Midnight to 5:30 AM unless there is a snow or ice event (Working for public works) then its if I am sent home early to get sleep return at what time they want us back in, work 12 hours, drive home, climb into bed, sleep until its time to eat, get dress and if I have to go back to work.
On weekends Friday and Saturday nights it depends on what time I get sleepy and get up around 8 AM.
When I slept in the firehouse as a volunteer in my teens and twenties and had to work I might be dragging at work from being on a fire or ambulance call. I stayed on the ambulance all night one time and went to work where I worked in a kitchen. I fell asleep in a chair checking dishes to see if they were clean with a stack of dishes in my lap and someone walked in and woke me up. Lucky I didn't drop the dishes.

Sleep eh? Its been a while, school made me get up at about 5:30 in the morning and get to sleep at about 1:45 in the morning...I hated it. But now I can sleep all I want for a couple months and boy I am gonna catch up on that! Woot!

Usually I have problems of actually "falling" a sleep on some days (which is the reason for me staying up pretty late on most occasions.) That is why I take Melatonin supplements to help me fall asleep when I can't. Our bodies produce melatonin and taking the supplements ensure you sleep a lot better as well. And my sleep cycle is pretty messed up considering the differences in the hours of sleep in the weekends\days, but thankfully the melatonin I take benefits in "resetting" that cycle (making it easier to wake up feeling refreshed.)

Of course, that has helped me get some pretty good sleep lately and would be recommended for those who have trouble sleeping.

Most nights I get about 7 hours of sleep. Somtimes such as weekends I get around 9 hours. Heh...during hunting season there are nights I don't sleep....

I always get to bed at 2, but on Mondays and Wednesdays I have to get up at 7:00 :sniffle:
That means on Tuesdays and Wednesdays I usually sleep until 11:00 to make up for the days before :shake:

I generally go to bed somewhere between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m., lately, but the horrible thing is that I have to get up by seven a.m. the next morning to get ready for either work, school, or rehearsals.
As Adol, I too have to catch up on sleep some time during the week.

Hmm.. It varies...

No sleep [All nighter! ( =_=) ]
2-3 Hours [3 or 4 A.M. - 6 A.M.]
7-9 Hours [9 to 11 P.M. - 6 or 7 A.M.]

I guess that's the majority...

um, lemme think...sometimes 9 hours...uh, depends on what day it is. But I don't go to bed until like twelve, so I'm still tired when I get up.

To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!

Nine hours is a lot of sleep for me (even though the most I slept this year was 7.5 hours.) Though I'm just wondering if there is such a thing as TOO much sleep? A while ago I heard that oversleeping can be bad for your health according to sleep experts. Not sure if I can validate on that...

On school nights I go to bed around 2:30 and get up at 9, and on non-school nights I go to bed around 3-3:30 and get up around 11-12. I actually hate sleep so I often try to skip it but end up just postponing it, which is why I go to bed so late.

ya know, laying in a bed, and closing your eyes, and.... randomly waking up and its morning!

sometimes between the process, you'll be transported to another world temporarily, they are called "dreams"

I keep a pretty regular sleep schedule, I usually get to sleep at 10-11 PM and wake up around 6:30-7:30 AM. 8 1/2 hours or so per night does me just fine.

Mine's off balance all the time. I usually try to get to sleep at around 10:00pm, but usually don't fall asleep until after 1:00am. No matter what though, I usually get up around 7-7:30am. School's got me trained. =P

I usually get about four and a half hours of sleep during the week. Not total, I mean each night. On Saturdays I usually sleep till about noon.
