I thought the game was great, granted it's not a kid game (kinda wish they had stuck to the original design which was more in tune to the Banjo games).
Greg the Grimm Reaper is hilarious! The game has no shortage of movie and culture references and I thought the ending was quite unexpected and cleaver. (note: make sure to spoiler if you make any further references, don't want to ruin it for others
)
The latest XBox magazine demo disk has a playable section of Live and Reloaded on it, you get to play part of the Tediz level with the beach landing (I believe that part is a homage to Saving Private Ryan).
The new game is loaded with visual effects that they could have only dreamed of on the N64, and Conker is all furry (he's just so darn cute). The demo had some load zones in it, but they wheren't too bad. That was the upside to the carts on the N64, most games could stream the level right off the cart, the only real limit was in what could be drawn at one time on the screen.
I'll most likely get this for my XBox, though I might consider a rental, not sure how much I'd play the multi-player (much of that depends on if there is any botmatch included like the original did).
