Pet Pictures!

Postby Riceball » Fri Dec 03, 2004 1:05 pm

Lets post our fav pet pictures ^^ hehe.. im a suxor for fuzzy wuzzy pets ^^ hehehehe. And then we can talk about them ^^ YAY!

My pet's name is Yuki (which means snow in japanese) I actually named him after a character in Fruits Basket - who turned into a mouse. Becuase when I got yuki (he was only 7 weeks) he was sooo small and very light grey in colour I gave him this name.

He is a grey tabby domestic short hair.

One thing about Yuki is that he has a health situation. He has fluids in his lungs which makes it very hard for him to breathe. But we still Love him TONS. we spoil him like crazy! hehe

If you will look at my avatar you will see my pet. Her registered name is Anneline Quality Design, however, her pet name is Diina. She's a Pembroke Welsh Corgi born in Finland. She was brought here to the states when she was a year old. Two breeders had co-ownership and I purchased her when she was 3 years old. She is now 5 and has a very sweet nature.

We bred her once and kept one of the female puppies. She is registered as Foxlynn Mystic Eyes aka Missy. She turned a year old in October. Diina is now retired but Missy will be bred when she is two years old.

May I present my dearest bubsy, Tilly
Getting this picture was the biggest fluke, cause my bro and I were playing with the cat one day with the camera handy. Tilly sometimes leaves her tongue sticking out for no particular reason (i think cause she is too lazy to pull it back in ;) ), and she did it that day. My bro quickly dived for the camera and shot Tilly, hence she looks a bit startled :P

Prepare yourself for the wrath and fury. ;)
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Here are my pets! The first two are of my poodle, Eukie. The third is of Felix (cat -- he passed away) and Princess (German shepherd). The fourth is of Oscar.

Oh, and yes, I named Felix and Oscar off of the Odd Couple (old TV show that was on Nick at Nite when we got them).
