Something hit me *not physically*....
but mentally and spiritually...and...and...I've struggled with self esteem all my life..so...this really didn't help it too much...I've been crying for awhile cause I feel so hurt...

I read this in my quiet time today. I didn't quite get why I was directed towards this passage, but it seems really applicable now...
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows." 2 Corinthians 1:3-5.

I know what it's like to to have low self esteem. Most of the time I have it under control, though at times it comes back. Thoughts like, "Why me God," or "Why can't I ever feel happy?" But everytime I get off the track God wants me on, some internal drive always kicks me back on to the path. I believe it's God's way of telling me not to concentrate all my worries on the bad. That to be able to move foward we just need to have some faith in the lord. We are the children of God and he will always give you comfort you when you need it.

Whatever you have learned, or received, or heard from me, or seen in me, put it into practice, and the God of peace will be with you."
I hope this helps you. I have struggled with sorrow and taken some spiritual hits, also. I know what you are going through. I'll definately be praying!
