*nods* All my Sailor Moons (except for the movies) are boxsets... too bad the movie boxset was in the store AFTER I bought all of them... oh well.

Still need to keep collecting with some series like Angelic Layer and Chobits that only come with a limited box (which really should be used for in an actual boxset if anything...)

...also have both Oh! My Goddess... wow, that was a long series.

I don't buy a series without a boxed set. It's just easier that way. I have 8 whole series.

you know it! But I would advise if you want a whole series wait the year for them all the dvd's in that series to be released in a box set. I've wasted a couple hundred dollars buying dvd's one by one. Though I sometimes get antsy waiting, it's like "I want it now!" Then I cave in :(. Seriously, why does it take them 2 months to dub 3-4eps that will be released on one dvd? Oh well :P

I have so many complete series, it's kinda scary...

It depends on how bad I want to see the series that determines if I buy the box set or not. Like Ranma, for example, I bought as they came out. However, for Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight, I bought the box set.

Currently to date, I own 9 complete series. I did own 10, but I sold my Ceres dvds.

I've typically buy my stuff one disk at a time. I don't like to wait for the boxed sets. Though if I were to ever buy the Kenshin series, I'd definetly buy it by the boxed set. Something I did find rather interesting though, is that I have all these anime series I've completed, or am only 1 or 2 disks away from haveing complete, and I have NO manga series that are complete! Oh wait. I do have one series. I bought the last Alice 19th vol. online wednesday. But still...in like a collection of 79 manga, that's...sad!!!! Oh, my money....

I figured it out once. I could finance 2 trips to Japan, at least, on what I've spent on Anime and Manga to date.

Hence...why I can count the number of anime DVDs I currently own on one hand.

Although, by now I do have a fair amount of manga, which tends to be cheaper in the short run.

I own the Rurouni Kenshin boxed set and all the OVAs, including the motion picture. o.o The day I got the DVDs (a couple days after my Birthday last year) I ran around the house screaming with joy. xD I usually buy more manga than anime.
