Prayer

Postby Zar » Mon Nov 22, 2004 10:23 am

Hi ya people, will I'm writing about my sister. She has been making some really bad decisons lately and getting involved in things that are totally not a reflective of a some one who has given their life to Christ, sometimes I wander if she still cares about wether she is a christian or not.I really don't want to go inot detail because it just pains me to talk about it.
Anyway I just ask you guys to keep her in your prays and I know God can get her through this situation.

"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things... hey... the good things don't always soften the bad things; but vice-versa the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant." -11th Doctor

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close

SOrry to hear about that. . It's hard to watch someone you love make really bad choices and perhaps get off track w/ God. I know this because my older brother has made a lot of bad choices and is going down the road that isn't too bright. I will pray for your sister

*hugs Zar* I'll definitely be praying for you and her. If you need anyone to talk to about it, I'm only a PM away. I understand how you feel. My sister is the same way.

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.
