Talk about anything in here.

When was that?

eBay's current policy on the sale of humans:

"Humans, the human body, or any human body parts may not be listed on eBay."
"All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."

My favorite part of the cheese story:
"After looking at it a second time, there's nothing to indicate that the seller isn't willing to give up this cheese sandwich to the highest bidder"

As for the ducky thing, it was slightly creepy but its validity was marred in my eyes by a long list of logical flaws:

1) if the duck is still in the tupperware container, then why do the pics show it in the open?

2) if the son is less than 2 years old, how do they know all this stuff that he allegedly "noticed" while in the tub? He must have been quite a talker

3)How would this 1.5 year old be able to quickly get all the way across the tub and throw the duck across the room with such force that it ricocheted off of several walls?

4) If the dad was standing there as all this was happening, why did he get his son out of the water or help somehow?

5) How did the wife "know what was going on" before she came running?

6) These must have been really bad parents to leave a veritable INFANT in the bath tub by himself at all, let alone with a possessed DUCK that he allegedly has fights with!

7) As someone mentioned, why haven't they destroyed or buried the duck themselves? They certainly have no right to sell it off at upwards of $100 and expect someone else to bury it!

So yeah, the story will need some editing before I beleive it :)

I did read the one "planet earth for sale" that read out as: "Hello my children, this is your master from up above. Some of you refer to me as God, some refer to me as Allah, some of you refer to me as Buddha. It doesnt matter, what matters is that I am retiring, and selling the planet earth to the highest bidder." :eh: Oh my....

Hmmm... I remember an old story but I can't remember if it was a hoax or not. Think it's on snopes, but can't remember... I'm sure people here have seen it, a supposed toaster sold on Ebay with a... man... taking the photo... nude... in the reflection of the applience :/ Was that one actually attempted to be sold on Ebay or was it just a hoax after all?

Some of those are hillarious. Especially the ark of the Covenant. To think that it's been in some guy's garage all that time--- just waiting to be found!
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

People are so weird. Some one thought to sell it and someone was gullible enough to buy it. What a waste of money and brain power.
