Rurouni Kenshin: Redemption JK:A Mod

Postby R. Zion » Fri Nov 19, 2004 1:11 pm

RK:Redemption is a promising, up and coming mod for Jedi Knight III: Jedi Academy. Has anyone else seen or heard of it?

You can find out all about it HERE!

If anything, besides Star Wars, would get me to get JA, this is it! :thumb:

Most definately, but I also would like to recommend a few posts from their MB, but beware of some quite heavy language. Ingnore the words and look at the pics ^_^:

An awesome Aoshi wallpaper

and

a post on the Shishio model

and

Misao's Kunai

and

Tani-dono's house, where we Kenshin and Jin'e first meet. Though I'm not 100% sure if this is actually for the game or not.

For those of you who already looked earlier, apparently they have updated the page with...... :wow!: Actual in-game shots! We get to see some cool shots of Aoshi and Saitoh, not to mention some Saitoh on Saitoh action! Check it out!

I may have to pick up this "Jedi Academy" you speak of for this and this alone....

I've been hoping they'd make an RK game...looks like this is what I got.

There's going to be a single-player campaign from which you can play from Trust and Betrayal, through the series, and all the way through to Reflections. And yes, there is multi-player mode.

I just wanted to say, in regards, to the screenshots, they aren't finished screenshots just yet. They have more tweeking to do, such as having the swords in the hands and not floating in the air, so don't worry about any problems. They're aware and working on it. Wooo!

There's a new update for RK: R from the animation team. It shows, with a with polygonal model, Saitoh's "Aku Soku Zan" taunt and the gatotsu animations.

There's an addition to the update coming soon, hopefully something with animations attached to an actual game model.

Skinning update is up. Doesn't look bad but Shishio's eye look wierd, but I left a comment about that.

The belt on the Kenshin model also looks a little too round, but eh....take a looks for yourselves.

Here's your weekly RKR Update. DEFINATELY go look at these maps....they're shaping up quite beautifully. I'm especially looking forward to a deathmatch in the streets of Kyoto.

the maps are stunning, i love the Kyoto Streets map too, i think its gonna be great that you can play through pretty much all the main events of the series & OVA's in single player.

Been a while since I've updated. From what I've seen, most of the stuff from the previous updates are now 'filed' in their appropriate sections on the site, so to speak.

Also, there are pictures now Sword trails and also the models for Seta Sojiro and Shishio's guards, both in the modeller and being played in the Kyoto at night level.
