I almost bought one of these movies today, but I didn't, so I would just like to know what you all thought about them.

Also is Hack//sign pretty good?

I've only seen the first 3 episodes of Initial D, but it was pretty cool and different. What I liked about it so much was that everything seemed so normal and realistic compared to most berserk-O animes. The music is cool, the cars are cool, the characters seem almost real, and it's just worth checking out. ^_^

But if you want to see a really cool anime movie, definately check out Voices of a Distant Star.

I only saw the first two dvds, so I think it was only stage 1 or something. It's a good anime, especially if you like cars, since it goes into semi-great detail about tuning and stuff.

I love the Mazda RX-7.

hate tuning but love cars like the rx-7 rx-8 and skyline (i hate mainly neons with the big wings on the back and such) my question is this what is the plot of this anime in a nutshell and does it put a fast and the furious ( ~_~ ) emphasis on cars?

I saw the first three eps of initial d as well. It was pretty good. The only bad thing was a really brief underwear shot. I know that later on in the manga it gets more mature and tak talks about having premartial sex. I dont know if this occurs in the anime though. As for .hack its a pretty good anime but you may get bored by it. Nothing really objectionable in this besides some skimpy costumes and mild violence.
