I remember driving by myself. For the first two weeks I drove like a grandfather; both hands on the wheel and my back was straight. But after you drive for a while it'll become like second nature. I have faith your be fine.

TIP: the trick is always to look ahead about 3-4 cars (or more), that way you can see potential dangers or fast stops/brakes. That causes more accidents than anything else. Sorry, don't mean to scare you. Just don't let other drivers intimidate you. Some people are so impatient, let them get angry; who cares. Do whatyou think is safe :thumb:

I'll be pray for you calmness

Love is that feeling you get when a girl looks at you and it feels like your driving a car at high speeds and experience a sudden drop. You know what i mean? That sudden sinking feeling you get in your stomach? Yeah, that's love. Leave's you speechless everytime.

Oh, of course you're cut out for driving! You just need practice, that's all. Don't worry about it. I'm sure you'll be awesome at it when given proper time. I'm sure you'll be great!
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I used to be afraid of driving at first, but once you get more experience, looking out for other cars and things that all sound so hard now will get easier and easier. you'll get used to it.

like agasfas said, if people get mad at you for not going, then oh well, let them get mad. better safe than sorry :]

Oh, I remember those days (not so) fondly. Hang in there, because as you drive more, you'll continue to improve! I'll pray for you, Bakura_fan!

Experience is the key, but you have to be inexperienced first. Here's some tips for newbies:

Avoid busy streets for a while. Drive around your neighborhood. Get used to stopping and turning and watching where you are going.

Only make left turns on busy streets if you have a traffic light to help you. At a traffic light, you can roll into the intersection (but not so far that you can't see the traffic light anymore) and wait for your turn. Worse case, the other cars will stop when the light changes and you can complete your turn.

If you need to go left and there is no light to help you, turn right and go down the street until you find a convenient place - like another store - to turn left into. Turn around in the parking lot and then you will be able to turn right onto the road.

Stay calm and don't worry about making others impatient. No likes to get flipped off, but that's better than making a hurried and bad decision. The only cars you need to worry about are your own and the one(s) who have right of way over you. You need to watch out for others who aren't looking out as well, but you need to take care of yourself first and foremost.

Good luck, Bakura_Fan. You'll be a competent driver in no time and you'll be the one wondering why the idiot in front of you didn't make that turn when he was clearly able to.

Great driving tips from everyone. ^_______^ I will definitely pray for you.

Everything in life takes practice, and you'll eventually get used to driving - you just have to do it. I really liked Termyt's (Ashley clone -_-) advice to practice around your neighborhood, just watch for kids. o_o

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.
