Peter Parker was working on a project to build a super soldier for the government. Threatened with loosing funding, he tried to experiment on himself. He injected himself with liquid metal converting his bones to adamantium and irradiated himself with gamma rays. This gave him great strength and endurance (but be careful about making him mad) Unfortunately, the experiment caused him to loose his sight, but enhanced his other senses. Unfortunately, it also drove him insane and caused him to make his spider mask, which now believes is sentient.

Other movies? Two words. Ice Pirates.

Bonus
Yoda is a semi-solid dairy product made from partially evaporated and fermented milk. Yoda is one of only three foods that taste exactly the same as they sound. The other two are goulash and squid.

How did Peter Parker become Spiderman? Some guy walked up to him, of course, and said "Dude! You'd make a good Spiderman!" Thus the concept was born.

Yoda is that stuff you eat while doing strenuous exercises of the same name.

QUESTION 12:
Depending on the lore you follow, Peter Parker became spiderman in 2 ways.

1: (original) he was bitten by a radio active spider. This was changed mainly because it would not cause a mutation.

2: (movies) he was bitten by a spider with alter DNA. This "super spider" had all the diferent hunting styles and abilities of 9 diferent spiders, therefore transfering these to Parker.
It is easy to miss the possibility that every person who crosses your path can become an event and a memory, good or bad, to fill in the hours with experience instead of tedium, to break the monotony of the passing moments. Those wasted moments, those hours of sameness, of routine, are the enemy, I say, are little stretches of death within the moments of life. - Drizzt Do'Urden

I believe, sir, that there is a slight confusion as to the nature of this thread. This is anti-trivia, by which we mean that we are giving obviously incorrect answers to the questions. No harm has been done, but I thought clarification was necessary.

Also, on an administrative note, I would have to ask you to decrease the length of your signature by about half. It will help us with bandwidth at least a small amount, and also with general thread readability.

Question 12

Peter Parker became spiderman when his planet was destroyed and him and his parents came to earth to escape the destruction. His parents were killed by a man called "The Joker", and the yellow sun gave spiderman his strength and matrix-like fighting ability(Or spider-sense). He was caught in a lab explosion later, which genetically bided the cloned prehistoric spider's DNA(They were going to be used in a theme park, know as Jurrassic Spider Park), and he got his web shootin stuff. That's how Peter Parker became Spiderman, until he started whining about his awesome powers. "I'm Peter Parker, and I have these awesome powers, but I just whine and mope around because they're so cool."

Other Movies? Godzilla, King Kong, old horror movies, the Birds, Psyco.

That's one of the funniest things I've seen in a very long time.

As for goulashes, I can't say. Bill Watterson implies that they are named that because it's the sound they make treking though the snow...

Q: What is Yoda?

A: An infected BonziBuddy.

Q: What happened at the end of Matrix: Revolutions?

A: Morpheus & co are addressing the council, and Morph finishes up a rousing speech with "but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!" just as a sentinel comes round the corner.

Magical leprechauns from far away islands in the pacific ocean come over to America in packages of fruit. Once the packages are opened, the leprechauns find there way into an unsuspecting citizen, and plant a brain-controlling ship in thier heads. These people then become directors, actors, camera-men, screenwriters, and everyone else involved in movies. The leprechauns then make the movies about the future, and what is going to happen. Every movie to ever come out was a prophecy of the future. The leprechauns can see the future, but they are trying to warn us through movies. LEPRECHAUNS!!!

question 15::

first there was this little protoplasma that sat on a shelf and did nothing except grow. One day, it evolved into a microchip, then after a trillion years, it developed fully into a camera.

A Man came along and spotted it and thought, "Hm, I bet I could make a bunch of money with this! I won't have to do anything but make up lies about its origin."

Pretty soon, 2 months later, the camera evolved into a full-length movie--or so the guy says...
