It must have been quite windy for you to be running with your eyes closed. Was it a 5k? What was your time?

Great pics.

Shorts and gloves. That's pretty funny.

So, what's the eight? Is that your eighth glass of water? Did you run eight miles? Are you eighth in line for the bathroom?

Nice... we never manageed hail during our races that I remember, just bitter cold and wind towards the end of the season... and snow on the course occasionally XD .

Actually, the gloves thing is kind of a fashion statemment in cross country, since its the only thing you can really wear without weighing your motions down.

Same here. I hope the hail didn't mess you up too bad, Cobalt. I'm wondering why the officials didn't call the meet - bad ground is one thing, but hail is another. That could be like trying to run on BBs in the right (wrong) places. So did you really come in 8th?

Maybe it hailed during the race... we did have it happen one time that it started drizzling after the race had started, so we couldn't do anything about it. Frankly... the sand we ran in at some races had to be just as bad... not to mention wet leaves. (My school had a dangerous course usually).

Actaully, I think I'm saying, "I did so bad!!"

Cool! CC pics! Though only the one on the most recent post is coming up. Sounds like a real memorable day to race, Coby! I'm glad you're having an...interesting...CC season. Congrats on your time and finish.

I remember running though knee-deep water one time in CC, there looked like there was an oil slick in the middle of it too...

Woo! lol Cross-country's still goin for you guys??? Our CC season ended like 2 weeks ago... The worst weather we had... was probably every day! XD Oklahoma has funky weather, so like Monday it would be 105 degrees, then Tuesday it would be below freezing! @.@ The weirdest was the day when we were in a tornado warning and the sky turned green.
