Absolutely. I've been strugling with the same stuff myself as well lately. I'll definately be praying for you, man.

i pray for you all the time!! i use to be the same way, that was like a year ago. but then i got caught but i lied about looking at it. so then i started to watch it on tv. and then i met nathan! and we have been helping each other since then. it's very hard to come away from but i know you can do it! i have faith in you ryan! *hug* God will help you! and if you want i'll help you too! i've been good for a while now. i stopped looking at it on tv and the internet, but then the images started to pop in my head. lately they still do but i push them out. i use to dwell on them. but i've been getting help from nathan. wow i can't believe i wrote all that! i don't really like to talk about that but now i can. hopefully it helps and it all isn't in vain.

I share with you what helps me battle lust. Lust is basicly turning a person into a sexual object for your own gratification. I find the best way to deal with lust is to change the way you view the person. I do this by going in my mind in front of Jesus on the cross. After meditating on this until I feel strong enough, I imagine the person I am lusting after kneeling there in front of Jesus clothed in a white garment. I pray for her and ask Jesus to shower her with grace. Then I pray that I might be able to see her as a child of God, created in his own image. After that I find myself incapable of lusting after her. I've been using this prayer for over four years, and it works so well that I've brought it into other areas of my prayer life.

yeah man, that stuff can be quite addicting. Best thing is to just toss out everything in your life that may cause that urge to come back; though tossing the computer may not be the best thing. It's a really hard habbit to kick, i've had/have friends that are in that stuff. Just keep praying and try your hardest not to give in. We all have our demons we have to fight. I'll be praying for you buddy. Good luck and stay strong.

Edit: also, being a young teen as you those feelings and urges are going come and go, just be/remain strong man.

This is my fear. That I'll fall back into hentai again. I'm battling it every day and so far ive been successful, but i know exactly how hard the battle is.

CDLVikings advice is good although it's harder to think of hentai girls like that simply because they're not real. Having my girlfriend support me has really helped me out.

My prayers are with you. You can beat this sin. :)
Absence is to love as wind is to a flame. It extinguishes the little, it ignites the great.

Yeah, hentai is definitely harder to get out of your head. Luckily I've never had a hentai problem. I think the best way that I've found to deal with it is to think about how it corrupts the view of women in general. Perhaps when trying to purify your mental image, think about many women that you deeply respect, and how painful it would be to think of them in that same way.

Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

One thing that's helped me deal with sins like that is to just saturate myself with God. If I'm surrounded with holy people, listening to Christian music, praying a lot, and reading the Word, it makes it a lot more difficult to sin. I hope this helps you. I'll be praying.

Ouch, painful topic for me as well. >_<;;; I felt attacked by a lot of sexual temptations this week too.

What helped me greatly was remembering this "The prayers of a righteous man is powerful and effective." I didn't want sin to reduce the power of my prayers so it helped me to resist. I've been working on my prayer life recently and I think Satan is doing everything he can to stop me.

Whenever I fall, I run towards Psalm 51, the prayer King David made after his sin with Bathsheba. I really want to imitate how King David approached his sin.

Hope this helps along with my prayers for you and anyone who has struggles with lust.

Lust is a deceitful web, and everyone at one time or another has problems with it.
I'll pray for you Ryan and everyone else on the CAA who's having the problem.

Hi,
Yeah, unfortuantly a lot of us struggle with this. Even though I'm still in the process of getting this junk out of my life, I'll be praying too. I hope you guys will include me in your prayers as well. I just know that the same God who delivered me from panic attacks can deliver me from this too.
God Bless,
