mrs. ackermann, she was my teacher for bio, had two rats in the class, but one day the really friendly one went near a kid, that was skiddish around it, got nervous and flung their hand and the rat hit the wall. days later the rat died. everyone was sooooooo sad, especially me cuz that rat loved me and i loved it. seriously the rat loved me! i was the one it would play with everyday and i would let it crawl all over me. it would nibble on my earlob. his name was nibbles. :( i miss nibbles!! :waah!: oh yah! there is one left her name is star and star is rats backwards! she's so sweet! i'm the only one that can make her stay still while i hold her. i love rats!!!

when i was young i had a pet rat named molly. She was about 7 inches long. They are very smart animals if you get a good one. Molly would escape her cage if I didn't spend sufficient time petting her everyday. She would escape and find me and sit on me till i woke up to pet her some more.

She was a black and white rat , my mother hated her. but i was very sad when she died. I kept her cage clean and i washed her in the sink. she would squeek when i did it, but she smelled. Aparently she got a tumor , but i never found out till years later. she just "ran away" that happened to a few of my pets when i was little.

Hmm...

I've never owned gerbils. Mice and hamsters are too small and fragile to be very good pets (in my opinion). Guinea pigs are kewl...but IRRITATING. I used to have some. When I tried to sleep, they would whine CONSTANTLY.

I guess I'd have to say rats. Rats are pretty kewl. We used to have a rat, and I liked it. Such a cute little thing...well, it wasn't really little...it was pretty big, actually.

I still want a hedgehog, though. I hear they're good pets.

Rodents.... I don't really care for those multiplicitous [REDACTED]. I think a rat would be OK, but my mom would definitely flip if I had one in the house.

I had a mouse once. She ran away. To this day, I'm paranoid that we might have a mouse infestation, but I don't think that's a problem. Months ago, our building was tented. Hmmm, that took care of the roaches too.

If I had to lean towards another type of multiplicitous creature, I would have to pick rabbit. THEY ARE NOT RODENTS! They are lagomorphs. I don't know how they're that different, but apparently lagomorphs have another pair of teeth behind their incisors. Go figure.

Lemmings. Because who could dislike the stars of the old DMA Design/Psygnosis hit computer game. I can make lemmings blow up.

I've had 2 fish, 6 rats, 59 mice, one gerbil, one hamster, and a cat in that order. Now i'm down to my last rat, named Oreo, my cat, and my brother's hamster. The next time I get a rat, i'm gonna name him Abu!

I can't choose just one rodent, cause I love them all!

But some of my personal favorites:

Guinea pigs

Rabbits (Are these rodents?)

Chinchillas

Rats

Ferrets

As for hedgehogs, well, theyre cute and all but, having owned one before, I can't really say they are my favorites. You have to even wear gloves to pet them! And they like to spit all over themselves....

I would have to say hamsters. I have only one right now but at one time my sisters and I had 23. Both of our hamsters had babbies it was so cool. We also had one that would eacape so he could find us. Sweetums is our curent hamster his fur is so long that I have to trim it so it won't get stuck in his wheel. We also had gerbals at one point.

One time one of my mice chewed a tiny hole in the side of their cardboard tube, and i tried to pull him out, and he started gnawing on my finger. I got him out, but boy was my finger bleeding. It didn't hut very much though. The only time it hurts is when they lunge at you and you slam your arm against the side of the cage.

I like lemmings because they crack up. LOL... I also think mice are so cute, I really wanted a brown mouse when I was in middle school for some odd reason, but my parents were violently opposed.
