Where is that reference?...

There are two places in the OT where it refers to time not moving as it should. I think one of them is during a battle and in the other the sun moves backward for a king of something. Anyone know at least the right book and chapter to look in? Thanks.

One of those times is in Joshua 10, where the sun stood still for the Israelites for half a day so that they can win a battle they're fighting.

I'm not sure, but I think the other instance you're thinking of is in 2 Kings 20:1-10. Hezekiah was ill and asked for a sign to indicate if God would allow him to recover. He then saw his shadow move forward ten paces, indicating that God had decided to heal him. Whether or not that's a time anomaly or an instance of when the sun moved back or not, I don't know, but that's the closest thing I can think of...

Jos 10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. [Is] not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

Hab 3:11 The sun [and] moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, [and] at the shining of thy glittering spear.

olorc, I edited my first post to include what I think may be the second reference. I hope it's what you're thinking of.
