Winter Housing and Left Wrist

Postby Mave » Tue Oct 26, 2004 4:37 pm

Hi everyone,

I'v been holding this off for a while but it's been bugging me so I'll share and ask for prayers.

Some of you are familiar with the first one in the Beloved Disciple thread.

1) I need housing for this winter since the apartment where I currently live in will undergo renovations soon and I'm being forced to move out by the end of this or next month. I'm currently making the arrangements for myself and my roommate (yes, this is why I now use dialup, no more cable *sniff*). A house is currently being considered but there are some logistic and legal problems. Pls pray that I'll be able to secure a decent place to stay and that the transition will be smooth.

2) I've been having a dull throbbing ache on my left wrist every now and then. I've been told that it could be the carpal tunnel syndrome. This distresses me to no end considering that my left hand is prized for my mangkaing efforts. I'm not sure whether I should see a doctor but I have my left wrist bandaged to minimize movement and "banned" from any heavy activity for the next few days. I will, however, also start training my right hand to write and draw. Could you pls pray for my left hand to heal and for my right hand to "learn" quickly?

I'm trying not to allow these things to get me down. ^_^ Thanks for all your prayers in advance.

sure thing Mave. I hope you will be able to find a really nice apartment. Secondly I pray that your wrist will get better, but i would say if it's bothering you that much, I would wrap it or go see a doctor. Hope you heal fast, we need more left handers out there :thumb:
I pray that everything works out for you.

Father, show Mave what You have in sotre for her. Thank You for bringing her here to us to brighten our day and share in our joy. Give her comfort through pain and uncertainty. Help her adjust to the plan You have for her. Make sure she knows she is loved.

Amen.

You know I will definitely be praying for you. I know it will work out. ;) Keep resting that wrist.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.
