BakuraC,

Suicide isn't the answer to any problems, it's really commiting murder,
no one's perfect, no one asked for this physical life, no one has ever gone through life with no problems on their shoulders.
If you commit suicide, then you won't be able to do this:

Mat 16:24 wrote:Then said Jesus unto his disciples, 'If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."

None of us Christians are alone, we don't have to live alone, and we don't have to die alone. And if you deny yourself, take up the cross, and follow Christ,
We all will be right by you
--To Write Love on Her Arms

"That time and absence proves - Rather helps than hurts to love."

"Feelings, emotions, they are good, but they cannot be Love's foundation. When of Love, these things last. When of romance, these things end."

"Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get, it's what you are expected to give -- which is everything."

I'm in 8th grade too. I have AIM too and you know my email address so we could talk about more.

If you went through and killed yourself without any regrets at all, I would devestated. Sucide is won't get you anywhere you won't be able to see your family again or friends or ever talk to people on CAA. Friends and Family and GOD are so important to me.

I love you (spirtually) and so does God. I'll keep you into my prayers.

Byes,

Kels
a sad light shone
turning into wings that cuts the white darkness

shone upon by the cold sun
I had some limited freedom
the miraculous night cast by the mirror
started to remove my mask, my soul

on the other side of the collapsing wall
despair and hope looks the same
if there's a heart that's yet to be seen
lets head to the end of the prologue

in the world where the wind blows like a blade
what is it I should protect?
in a journey where I know one painful thing after another
I get closer to the true me

the fake light is disappearing
the true light is born
in these hands...

pierce through the night dyed in white
keep on creating a new era
create time with your heart
fly through the eternal white night

Here's a poem from my abnormal psychology chapter assigned for this week...it;s on suicide...v_v out of all things...
Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acidas stain you;
and drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might a s well live.

God always finds ways to speak to us and He can use anything. He's used anime to speak to me before. I think God is trying to tell you something through that poem! Trust in God. He will carry you through any difficult times.

I would just like to say that I am extremely grateful you are still with us. I will be praying for you as much as I can. Many people have already offered, but I will add my offer of talking if you ever want to.

For the record, I don't think any less of you for this thread, nor have I attached any stigma to you because of it.

:hug: I'm very glad.

Bakura_fan... I know that high school is very difficult. I went through it and I wouldn't really wish it on anyone. :P But the point is -- I went through it. I got through it! So can you.

One thing that helped me when I was severely stressed out was to think about all the people that got through it, and survived, and are fine now -- even happy. Even if you get bad grades, and your parents yell at you, and things suck for a while -- even if all that happens, you will get through it and come out okay on the other side. It may be unpleasant for a time, but it's only temporary.

There were times when I didn't know how I was going to do it. Everything was so overwhelming... but it was like God held my hand and helped me through. You may not do everything perfect, but that's okay -- Guess what? You're human. No one is perfect, no one can please everyone, no one can do everything. So take it one step at a time, in small chunks, so that you don't get overwhelmed.

Let's say your task was to clean the whole house after a major party. If you look at the whole house at once, it seems like an impossible task. But if you look at just the coffee table -- you can clean that pretty easily. And then you can move on to the dishes in the sink. Once those are done, you can clean the counters. Pretty soon the whole house is done -- because you did it in small sections.

That's a really dumb analogy, I know. :sweat: But it helps me to think of large tasks (like getting through school) in small pieces (like one test at a time). That way it doesn't seem so overwhelming.

I feel like all I'm doing right now is causing people to suffer...

As for that... Can you imagine the burden of guilt your loved ones would have if you killed yourself? They would forever be grieving and wondering what they could have done to help you. Your friends and family love you, dear. You are not a burden. Your suicide would be a huge burden. So... don't do it, okay?

I'm very glad you've decided to stick with us. :hug:

YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Oh, wow, I almost missed this thread. Bakura, I'm so glad you are still with us! Praise God. I'll be praying for you!

And on a side note: Although I've said it before in other threads, I'll say it again. Isn't it wonderful how much we care for one another, even though most of us never see each other in person? We're brothers and sisters in Christ, and we show our love for one another so wonderfully! :)

Thank God for the CAA.

"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things... hey... the good things don't always soften the bad things; but vice-versa the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant." -11th Doctor

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close
