Did You Draw on the Walls When You Were Little?

*points at sister with sharpie* SHE DID IT! SHE DID IT, I TELL YOU!
Really!

Mom: :shady:

Meep. >"< Busted.
Ooooohh! I'm so misunderstood! Why won't anyone believe meeeeee! :sniffle:

Mom: *not buying it*

Okay I did it. But if I have to go to the corner you'll...you'll...squelch my artistic creativity! How could you bear to do that to a poor little child such as myself, not to mention one of your OWN FLESH AND BLOOD! :waah!:

*hits the fast-forward button*

Yup. That's me! So, did any of you draw on the walls when you were a kid?
I drew on everything I could get my hands on, and printed my name backwards on it with sharpie too...really, you could put stuff up to the mirror and it would read exactly as it should. I'm a leftie. ^^
Let's just say I wanted to leave a mark on things...

Who didn't when they were real young. I did it when I was 3 to 4 years old acourse my brother might have joined me and he was 1 to 2 years old and my parents were renting the apartment we lived in which was part of a church sanctuary of a old church that was divided into 4 apartments.
My father was in the Air Force when I was born in 1954 and my brother 1956 and everywhere we have lived there was a church nearby, across the street or behind us.

Its strange. I never drew on walls or anything I wasn't meant to. I didn't even draw in books. I always had paper nearby so I drew on that.

Ya I don't think I drew on the walls either. I guess I always was happy with regular paper.

I was an avid budding artist, so my parents kept loads of paper around so I wouldn't add unwanted decorations to the house. *nodnod*

I don't remember drawing on the walls but I did draw on the floor. When I was older I discovered the joys of paper.

I used to like making "dark" lines in the carpet by dragging my finger through it, then "erasing" it by brushing my hand over the area and doing it again

He wants them to learn to walk and must therefore take away His hand; and if only the will to walk is really there, He is pleased even with their stumbles.

Healing hands of God have mercy on our unclean souls
once again. Jesus Christ, Light of the World, burning
bright within our hearts forever. Freedom means love
without condition, without beginning or an end. Here's
my heart, let it be forever Yours, only You can make
every new day seem so new.

Nail pierced hands they run with blood
A splitting brow forced by the thorns
His face is writhing with the pain yet it's comforting to me

The day that I found out how to draw an 'x' was the day that little x's starting appearing all around the house... not just walls, but furniture and such. ;) A few years ago, I was looking at my bedside table thing and I saw a little 'x' on it :P My legacy shall live on!

Oh, my, I've never drawn on the walls! Never wanted to.
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!

Rudyard Kipling
