"Yesterday afternoon while my dad was at work, there was an accident at the place he was wiring (he's an electrician). A transformer blew, sending an electric shock through his thumb and up his arm. He's now in the Augusta Burn Center waiting to have surgery sometime today. I know he is burnt up pretty bad but I'm not sure how bad it is because my mother doesn't really say..she just changes the subject. She told us not to worry about school or anything today..we'll make it up later. Now I don't have the strongest relationship with my father, but that doesn't mean I wish to lose him. Please..just keep him in your prayers.."
That was from a close friend of mine I have now for around 5-6 years now. She's having a hard time not knowing the condition of her dad. Truthfully, I am not sure if he is still living or not...I found this topic on the HMSB today when it was made 2-3 days ago. There's also this one...there's a censor on here...one guy on the message board who is showing NO sympathy. He's arguing against our religion, and everything else. No one on the HMSB is showing him much respect anymore, so he's just hurting himself. You might want to remember him, as well. I feel extremely sorry for Amy, and I'm made at myself for not finding this topic sooner.

Oh my. I'm sorry to hear this. It must be painful to know that something is wrong and they wont tell you on what kind of condition he is in. I will for sure be praying for your friends dad and your friend. It must be painful for her to bare. I couldn't imagine how sad that would be.
