I'm the opposite lol. I LOVE summer!! I just like the heat. When I was in Mexico it felt soooo good down there. True I did get too hot a few times, but still I hate being cold...and it's cold in my classroom now...so I'm mad lol.

Spring...I hate cuz I got REALLY BAD outdoor allergies

Autumn...I like it because its still warm and the colors of the leaves are soooo pretty around my neighborhood

Winter...I'd rather die :shady:

Spring is my favorite because of the warm, yet cool breezes. It’s great to go out with a jacket on and enjoy the green grass and the budding trees after a long winter. Everything seems fresh and new again and the noises of the spring are music to my ears. Then the thunderstorms of tornado season roll in in all of their glory. To watch a big storm roll in over the lake, what a fantastic display to shame any Fourth of July celebration.

Summer is my favorite because of the blue skies and green trees. I love to watch the wind shake the branches and hear the sound it makes as it blows across a grassy field. It brings back some of the best feelings and emotions of childhood to me. The feeling of the warm sun on my face, driving with my windows down and my AC on, picnics, swimming in the lake, all say summer to me.

Autumn is my favorite because of the changing of the trees as the leaves of the great deciduous forests of the East change into a marvelous spectrum of autumnal colors. The smell of the air is unique to this time of year, sweet, and yet it is the smell and those are the colors of decay - a harbinger of the season to come.

Winter is my favorite because of cold nights in front of a fire and a wondrous world covered in a fluffy blanket of white. As horrible as the weather can be and as dangerous as it can be to be out in it, there is a simple, clean beauty to a tree, devoid of leaves, yet marvelously covered in a shimmering coating of ice. Also, the winter is very quiet. To stand out in a snow covered meadow in the morning is amazing. The cold air stings a little as you draw it in and it sounds as if all of creation is in a sleepy, breath taking silence.

Autumn is my favorite season, back when I lived in the town i was born in. Now that I live in Central Oregon though, it is now winter. Just something about a full moon on a crisp 20 Degree night. The air smells so crisp and fresh.
Makes me want to write a haiku:

God's crisp full moon, bright.
Fresh air from the creator
Refresh my soul lord!

Okay maybe not the best, but haiku is a difficult art form :O)

May the lord of peace give you peace in all things
In Jesus name, Amen

Autumn, because where I live the summers are too hot, the winters are too cold, and the springs are too wet. :shady: Why do I live here, again?....

Anyway, fall in my area doesn't involve leaves turning colors, but I've always thought that such a thing would be beautiful to see. All those leaves, falling through the air...
Then there's the cold wind after the oven-hot summer. It's great, remembering what a cool breeze feels like after burning up for the last four or five months.

Autumn WOULD be my favorite, except that here in Texas it's STILL as hot and humid as summer almost. Therefore, I will have to go with winter. (I am so moving to Colorado someday ;) )

My favorite is Winter...there is just something that brings me closer to my loved ones during this season, I just love it when the outside is overcast and I'm inside with hot chocalate and the fireplace on...so cozy.

Autumn is swell too....unfortunately down here in south Texas we are deprived of those pretty Autumn season you guys on the northeast end have. You know the types where the leaves ACTUALLY change colors and litter the streets.

Fall, because I love the cool crisp weather, the falling leaves, the harvest, the smell of wood smoke, and football. Also, Fall actually lasts quite awhile around here so there's plenty of it to enjoy.

Spring is a close second. It would be tied with Fall except that here in Central IL Spring lasts abouts 2 weeks, and it's not continuous. Spring weather is probably my favorite, but there's not as much I enjoy about the season as in Fall. I also love the fact that everything is coming back to life.

I would have to say summer. I just really like to heat up, and it's especially nice when you can go to the ocean or pool. I've grown up where its warm so that's probably the major reason.

Winter!!! There are so many reasons why I like winter more than any other time of the year. ^^ One is that I dislike hot weather, and winter is the complete opposite of that. XD My mom once said that winter was my season because it matched my personality... ^^

I also dislike hot weather. Spring is a killer (really really bad hayfever, stupid flies, mosquitos, hot). Summer is bad (hot, mosquitos, stupid flies but not as bad as Spring. Winter along with Autumn are my favourites.

I love the winter. The cold air is so invigorating for me. There's just something about a dunny day and cold air that i love. And i can stargaze more easily during the winter too since the days are shorter. I also love looking at the frozen spider webs too. They can be beautiful in the winter.

Autumn is the perfect time of the year to go for a walk. And i like going for a walk. Its got my favorite tempature, cool but not freezeing. There are all the vibrant colors that the leaves turn, the bugs are gone, and you can just go outside and enjoy everything. So fall it is, that i choose. (and suddenly im yoda)

Huh, old thread, but it wasn't dug up for no reason...

Anyway, hands down fall is my favorite--november/early december especially. The leaves don't change here in Texas, not like they do in other parts of the country I had the pleasure of seeing this year (wink), but it still gets colder (60s) and crisp. I love the gray, rainy days and the smoky smell in the air, and the very thought of pumpkin pie. Christmas is near, a time off from school isn't far away...yeah, I definately love autumn.

I would add something about winter, but according to the mainers I haven't actually seen a real one yet. ;)

Autumn, most definitely because I love the cool in the air and the leaves on the trees as they turn to orange and red, and the crisp sound as you walk over the fallen leaves. The air is just right, it isn't cold enough to make it hurt to breathe but it isn't so hot that it's humid. Yes, fall is the best.

Hmm, this is a tough one. There are things that I like about each season that you just cant get in anyother one. But, I guess I will have to say the fall. Its just so beautiful where I live. ^_^

Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
