Coldplay

Alright, time to introduce another new band to this really skinny jam-session forum. Coldplay, British 'soft' (i guess) rock band, with Pianos and all. Check them out.

Best songs are;

Yellow
Clocks (that was the piano tune used in the Peter Pan trailers)
Spies
Don't Panic
Shiver

to name a few, anyone agree?
Once again Pumpkin this may not be your taste :)

I hope at the very least everyone's heard "Clocks." That's my current favorite of the songs they've played. Sure, it's overplayed, but it's well-written and has a touching musical feel to it.

One word to describe coldplay:

OVERRATED
"Relax, turn around, and take my hand." Tool
"Heir Kommt Die Sonne." Rammestein
"Now the world is gone, I'm just one. Oh please God help me." Metallica
"Are You Ready?!?" KoRn
"All and all your just another brick in the wall." Pink Floyd.
The downfall of society will be society itself.
Rap is the malignant tumor of the music industry.

Haves anyone seen the Coldplay Live DVD, I borrowed it from my mate, and theres a couple of unrealsed tracks on it which are really cool; "She's the one I love", "Moses", and another song, similar to green eyes and parachutes, but ive just forgotten what its called.

See if you can hear 'Moses' and 'The one I love', great tunes

I like Trouble the most. It's kickin. Also on my list of kickin Coldplay is The Scientist (rad video, man), God Put a Smile On Your Face, and Green Eyes. I like his singing and piano playing a lot.
