I have a lvl 23 thief, but i can't remember his name and don't know how to get his picture into a post... ^^V

EDIT: I'm now 25/18. Anyone know a good place to level up, and how to get a thief to kill horns?

Oh can't really help you with suggestions on wear to level since I was tanked (shhhh!) on hodes and then toy factory. Once you hit base level 35 or so I think you could handle the cookies on the first floor of the toy factory but before that... I'm not sure what you could do.

As for adding a picture of your character: When you have ragnarok opened to the "character selection" screen. Just press the print scrn key on you keyboard. Then open a graphics program (paint should work) and paste it in. Then you can crop it like we did if you want and save it as picture. Then just attach it to your post like a normal picture.

As for making a thief kill horns... once you get high enough you should have no problem. Why do you need to kill horns anyway?

Yeah, most rogues either do backstab and gank or strip. Strip rogues are SO annoying, but it must be fun to be on the giving end of that situation!

Wiggins - To kill Horns, bring pots. LOTS of pots. That's the only advice I can give you. 10 Double Attack and 10 Improve Dodge wouldn't hurt either. As for levelling, I left my thief in Mt. Mjoliner until around level 35, but exp there's slow, so I'll tell you when I can come up with something better.

Almost tempts me to get those skills. I don't like my rogue so much though. :eh:

I think I just don't care for melee classes. Well... maybe it's just more that I like my wizzard soooo much it makes me blind to everything else. XD I can't wait to get her to level 99 I'm going to get a bapo jr. pet and sit around town watching people. :lol:

Ehhh... my characters are all so broke right now. :waah!:

Guess I'm stuck vending all day to try and get some $$ back. :forehead:

What no one as anything iRO related to talk about?

The other day I discovered another wonderful addition thanks to amatsu >_< I was in Ant Hell trying to collect bottles with my wizzard (which works really well

) when suddenly I went "oh wow that monster that just walked over here looks a lot like Maya. But she's only suppose to be on the second floor so maybe it's a glitch." Well the Maya walked over and started hitting me so I decided pretty quick to run out the portal and get out of there. :lol:

Turns out it was Maya Purple. It's exactly the same level as the real Maya but it's not an MVP. What kind of a cruel joke is that? All the swordies that come there to level are going to be totally screwed. She didn't kill ME because I was able to get to the warp fast enough but I would have died in 4 hits (since she hit me 3 times and I almost died)

And my level is much higher then the swordies that come there to kill the ants. Bah! These monster relocations really stink! -_-

I think Maya Purple only spawns once an hour, though. >.>; Like any of the swordies down there could kill it anyways....eeew. There goes my plans of Vitata card hunting! *shakes fist at Gravity* Stupid monster relocating so and so's! :mutter:

My brother's aco and my Bard have been hanging around Clock Tower a lot lately. :lol:

With his heal and my...uhm....well I'm the only other person there to hit the stupid monsters, so we can take down Ridewords and Clock Tower Managers together. The experience is awesome. =D And I got my Poring hat!

Well if it's only once an hour it wouldn't be so bad. Except I don't there anyone who would be capable of killing it goes to ant hell except to kill the MVP Maya. So Maya Purple is probably alive on the map 90% of the day. :waah!:

As long as she doesn't come to the enterence again though I don't care.

Your brother must have a pretty fast heal. Or are you able to hold the ridewords back to some extent? My problem is that they burn though my firewalls so fast I don't have time to get another one up. And the Clock Tower manager! :wow!:

I've killed him... twice myself the whole time I've been playing. He has a long range attack that I really don't like :mutter:

so even when he's plowing throgh multiple firewalls he can still hit me. :bang:

Maybe you will get lucky though and the manager will drop a Memory Book for you!

I saw one for sale for the first time yesterday for 4million. I wanted to get it so bad but I didn't have enough $$ (I'm so broke iRO is not so fun when you are seriously broke.) :waah!:

Actually we have a rather interesting strategy. If it's a Rideword, he trains it on himself and heals himself like there's no tomorrow while I double strafe it. If it's a Clocktower Manager, he Holy Lights it and tanks while I doublestrafe until I run out of SP. Then I switch to a guitar and smash its brains out. We're the only ones up there who aren't running from the Ridewords. :lol:

I swear that kid's fingers are so fast on the F1 button! I need to record us while we're up in Clocktower. You'll probably hear: CLACKACLACKACLACKACLACKACLACKA

LOL, that made me laugh so hard. :lol:

And yeah I bet you are the only ones not running from the Ridewords. When I was up there last you could see the fly wings and teleport clips going all over the place.

Everyone in awhile there would be a party of a knight, priest, and ... a mage or something that would take on the ridewords but then the priest would be healing like mad XD

I actually haven't played that much lately. I've been trying to vend so I can get some money. :waah!:

Poor Saint, I owe $$ but I have no idea where all of mine goes! It seems like I never have any! Like last night:
Me: "T_T I'm so broke."
Him: "Oh no what did you buy?"
Me: "Well I saw grape juice for really cheap (1,100) so I decided to buy it off of the dumb kid and sell it for 3,000"
Him: "Wow 1,100 is really cheap."
Me: "Yeah it is cheap. The only problem was then he had over 400 of them so it still cost a lot." T_T

I had almost 3 million at one time. Now I barley have 1 million. Where did it all go? :waah!:

I've sold dumptruck loads of stuff too. I think it was all those stupid yggs I bought.

I'm going to try to get someone to teleport me to GH and I'm going to sell whites, blue gems, awakes, and yggs outside on the steps. Maybe that will get me some more zenny.

If you're looking for a place to sell yggs, GH would be the place. sit yourself on the steps outside the church yard, or outside GH Prison and vend to your heart's content. I always see people going "hold on, I have to buy some yggs" before going in. :lol:

Blue gems would be good to vend in GY, too, for obvious reasons. Just hope no one trains Dark Lord onto the cross while you're there.

u_u; Sometimes I wonder where all my zenny goes, too. I've stopped buying potions and yggs to conserve zenny, and all the red gems I use in WoE I find myself. :lol:

My poor Bard has to go off the red potions I find when I'm down in Payon 4, and yet I'm STILL dirt poor! I made almost 6 million during the double drops week they had on the main servers, but after that I've been running around with no more than 500k with me. u_u; I don't know whether it's my rotten luck or what, but I don't seem to be making money very fast. I DID find an OBB in toy Factory yesterday, but I decided to open it and wound up with a venom canine.

And I never actually saw any merchants there the few times I've been there. But yeah the wonderful Dark Lord. :eh:

There must be some sort of zenny eating virus that goes around and strikes our characters. :lol:

My rogue barely even has enough to buy teleports! You and your brother could probably handle Kulun though, and most of the drops in there are good money makers.

Hehe, yeah my characters are sometimes stuck using nothing but apples and candy. :sweat:

Although now that I think about it, I have a ton of red herbs from slaughtering all those cookies in toy factory. :lol:

I always open my OBB too XD I can't help myself. I should really just sell them since there isn't really anything I want that you can get in a OBB. I'm more into the old card albums :evil:

I think I've gotten a bananna and... other dumb stuff when I open my OBBs. :red:

My Zenny making strategy??? It's very simple. Do nothing!!! Yep! That's it! Do nothing and go broke. Then declare banruptcy and try to pawn off your pet to some one... @_@ Even if I went broke I personally would hold on to my very expensive pets....
XD Okay I have NO idea what you all are complaining about... My char with the highest $ has 380k. XD My other ones have less then 150k.... so HAH!
XD Actually I would be pretty rich If i could vend all my junk.... @_@ I have like 30 something pearls....

^_^ I'm so excited for the Kunlun dungeon. I've heard nothing but good things about it from people on Sakray. Maybe my sin can finally start making money, instead of having to go to Toy Factory and steal from every Myst Case there. :lol:

Well the drops aren't quite as good as ToyFactory. And you gotta watch out since about 1/2 the monsters are long range attackers. :dizzy:

Hehe, Here is Destiny's real $$ making stragety: "make cute characters so people will just give me stuff (dancer, aco) or make extremely useful characters so that people will give me stuff so I will tank them (crusader). And then complain about how broke you are to anyone you know has a little extra zenny. A sure to win strategy." :jump:

Haha, all this talk about Clocktower has made me miss it.

Maybe I'll go take my wizard back there and try to get some exp. My levels come so slow now. :waah!:

Yeah, the levels start coming slow after you hit 70. @_@; It took me weeks to get to level 78 - lots of dying and shouting at the computer and smacking Seals and Clocks. Stupid Seals. Stupid exp. Stupid sin. Stupid stupid. :lol:

All my obsessive compulsive opening of OBBs has finally paid off - I was sitting around Prontera bored when my brother went "open your last OBB." I had been planning to sell it, but I really had nothing better to do, so I opened it and lo and behold a slotted manteau popped out! :dance:

Once I manage to sell it and a couple extra katars my sin's been holding on to (the guy's a walking armory. >.>; He has at least 6 katars on him at all times and at least that many hidden in storage) I'll be able to piece together a Critical Double Bloody Jur and get Nimble clips for my Bard!

Well yesterday I vended at GH pretty much all day long. I made about .6 million so I'm pretty happy. Wish I had brought more leaves though. :forehead:

And I found out awakes also sell there pretty well. And I didn't even die! So that's worth something I guess.

Now I can actually start to pay Saint back. :lol:

Nimble clips are clips with Zerom cards - +3 dex, baby! :dance:

I'd go for Nimble gloves, but that'd cost me around 16 mil on the Loki server, so forget that. I'll be happy with my clips, thank-you very much. :lol:

but yes, Talame what server do you use? Myrrhlynn and I use Sakray along with a few other members!! I can tank you a bit after I get around to tanking Myrrhlynn!!!

Ahh yes +3 dex would be nice. My accessory slots are always full though XD right now my wizard has a teleport clip, a heal clip, and a phen clip, so I have to shuffle what she is wearing based on what I am doing. @_@

Hello little sis! Yes you do need to tank my merchant. Although all you've been doing lately is making Saint tank your novice.

The note on the patch client is related to a Halloween event RO's going to be doing, I think.

My guildies and I (my sin, a wiz, a priest, a crusader, a rogue, and a monk) went to check out Kunlun dungeon today and DANG did the Evil Snake Lord have it out for us! He got me three times, and I know our wiz got owned by him at least twice that much. :lol:

We finally decided to go to Glast Heim where there "weren't any stinking snakes."

That's part of the reason why my group rarley goes up there. That and the fact that the Nymphs totally kick our butts. :sweat:

The 2nd level (the biggest island part ) is the place to be. The trees spawn and spawn and spawn some more, so you get exp just killing all the dumb things.

I don't really get why people like GH so much. :eh:

I've been there a few times with people and it takes forever to get to different levels with all the stupid twists and turns, and annoying little monsters. Although it was fun to bust out my waterball for a few easy kills. If I ever did PvP it would be nice to find a patch of water and just sit there slamming anyone that dared to walk by with my waterball.

Although I don't think there is water in PvP.

I think I'm going to aim for 20-25% exp a day on my wizzard for a few weeks here. Hopefully I should be able to keep that up until level 80 or so. I'll be so happy when she has more dex. @_@ What I really need is to find someone to tank High Orc mobs. I can kill one of them with 2 cold bolt casts.

But they would have to be a really high tank to do that I think. :waah!:

If you can get a party with a priest or a Bard, you can always make them slave Suffragium or Magic Strings for you. :lol:

As for waterball in PvP, well if you can find a Sage to Deluge for you... /gg

It's too bad that you're on Chaos, Talame~! I'd offer help, but I play the Loki server - never set foot on Chaos soil. :sweat:

But feel free to ask for advice here if you need it. I'm not that well versed in swordsmen, since mine is just about the same level as yours (and he stinks. u_u; ), but I can offer what meager knowledge I have. And I always have knight friends I can badger for help, too!

Well I've been leveling with a priest but I don't think her Suffragium is all that high. Somone suggested we try Turtle Island. X_X What does Magic Strings do again? Delay casting time?

Yeah Talame sorry I can't help you either (wrong server) and I've never made a swordsman so any advice from me would be worthless

Destiny has a crusader though... I'll try to remember to ask her where she leveled. Although that was before monster relocations...

A priest?

Those are awesome characters but wow they are hard to level. Or at least they are hard to level solo. I suggest you try to find someone to level with once your heal gets pretty good. Most people like having a acolyte (and then a priest) following them around so you shouldn't have too many problems.

Yay! My wizard is level 74/44 now! Wheee! :dance:

Heh, my job level is so high it's pretty obvious I leveled a lot on clocks. :sweat:

Hmm... yep my HP Sage to be can help you, Myrrh. i think i am gonna try and make a spear Knight too... my FS acolyte just isn't any fun. =/ so i hope the knight wil be.

And while Myrrhs Wiz is very cool... i can't help but like my sage when i see her being killed by the peach tree monsters, cause she can't cancel her cast or walk while casting. XD XD XD XD XD the joys of the Sage. =D

zeny on the game. =/ well once you get your nice equips... there really isn't much point... unless you just want to keep getting and getting mroe cool stuff. ^_^" which can be fun.

i want a evil headband too... but thats a lot of stuff to have to get. u_u

I went to magma dungeon earlier today in hopes of retriving the 25 burning hearts. :lol:

I came out with ONE before I got slaughtered by the droves of Magma Golems and Diabolics. =/ I guess I'll have to wait until later to go item hoarding. >> Dangit, I want headgear! *cries*
