Poor guy... :sniffle:
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

I saw it when I got on IE this mornin...they have the story on MSN.com. It is sad tho...I'm sure the cast of Smallville is going to be devastated...He was the best tho. No one else can compare :)

A friend told me about this earlier this morning. It is sad that the man who played Superman on the big screen is dead.

Incidentally, does anyone know if he was a Christian?

I heard this is morning! It's so sad. . .
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I was just about to post this, but you beat me too it. It is very sad, I think he was probably the best Superman there ever was.

He will be missed.

It's too bad his life took the turns it did. I'll always think of him as Superman.

I almost cried when I heard -- not because he was "Superman," but because he was so upbeat and determined to walk again after his accident. He was also doing a lot of good, giving people hope and working to help others in his situation.

It is sad that he has died...but it is also sad his views on stem cell work. I really do not feel like getting into an arguement about cloning and whatever....but the death of one life to help another is still wrong.

I dont think that he was a christian, he was so dertermed on the thought he would walk again. To bed he was supporting the stem cell research he though that would make a cure.

it is a dark day indeed...although i would contuinue the big question vs his soul.....

Matthew 16:26
What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
I used to "Follow" Him because i had to....now i would give everything to follow Him.

Me check it out!

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]
