Pray that I can find strength.

Right now I'm in a tight situation at work. I won't go into details, but after hours I have unlimited internet access and there's nobody around. So I wind up places I shouldn't be, and the bad part is that the network records my every move, so people won't have to dig very deep to figure out where I've been.

Pray that God will give me the strength to fight this, I feel he has placed me here to finally get off my feet, but if I don't end this struggle right now, the best thing to happen to me in ages will be all gone.

Please don't think of me as some kind of weirdo. I'm trying to make friends here not scare them away, but I am also trying to find strength amongst my brothers and sisters in Christ. I hope you'll understand.

Dude, you have my sympathies. That is a pain I know all too well. I have internet access at home, and with my mom and little brother not being around all the time, let's say I end up in...well, probably not the best websites for a Christian to be at. The thing is I can delete my cookies and temp files so they don't know, but the fact remains that I'm still at those sites.

I'll pray for you if you pray for me.

Sure thing. I'll pray for you right now. We'll fight it together. God says "whenever 2 of you come together I will be there", so he is with us now. I pray that he gives both you and I the strength to fight this temptation we have within us that is so hard to give up. Lord you are our rock and will not give, so we know that we can defeat this. Please give us the strength to do what honors you and not what displeases you Lord.

In Jesus name, Amen.

Well it has been really good for the last few nights but tonight I lost the battle. I have a bad feeling that I'll be found out this time and I'll lose my job. So please pray that my boss doesn't go snooping, and even if he does, pray that he will forgive me and let me keep my job. I'm not asking God to let me get away with it, that's not what I want. I just don't want to lose my job over something I've struggled to control for years.

I know he's being patient with me, but sometimes I wonder, how many times can I fall before the Lord says, "enough is enough, you've done what I've told you not to, now suffer the consequences."

Cross your fingers guys.

"If we confess our sins to God, he is faithful and just and will forgive us of all unrighteousness."

God's not looming in the sky, waiting for you to screw up.

I won't say there can be no consequences for sin, but I will say that those consequences will be for your good. (Do you think you'd have this problem if you were employed somewhere else?)

I'm really sorry you have to face this kind of temptation. This certain area of struggle is one that I, as a young lady, cannot sympathize. All I can do is commend you to take strength in the Lord. Furthermore, I would suggest you experiment with various ways to avoid the temptation. What hours are you most tempted to do this? What incites the desire? If you can nail down any of those things, figure out a way to avoid the areas, times, ect, that cause you to do this. Similar things have worked for me in areas of struggle in my life.

I'll be praying for you!
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.
