Your favorite day... and why!

Postby CobaltAngel » Mon Sep 27, 2004 5:32 pm

Aw, come on. We all have a favorite day of the week. That day where you are overwhemled with a such sense of happiness and extreme joy you don't know what else to say but... "YEPPIE!". *sprinkles an absurd amount of fairy dust*

I'm personally crazy about Fridays and Saturdays. I know its cliché...but what can I say? I hate school! *is pelted with bamboo* On fridays I'm always so excited with anntipation for the weekend's events. On saturdays I usually start off the day with a 5k race for xc. How I do in that usaully effects the rest of my day. If I do good, the rest of my day is filled with joy. If I suck, then I go lay in best eatting chocolate and feeling sorry for myself.

My least favorite day is definitly tuesday. I sucks so bad because its early in the week and atleast on mondays you're starting fresh. I always feel so tired and depressed on tuesday... ahhh... tomorrow is a tuesday. *goes off to lay in bed eatting chocolate and feeling sorry for herself*

...*ahem* But know that you've heard about my weirdness, its your turn! Tell your favorite and least favorite days and don't forget to say WHY! ^_^

I love Saturdays. ^_^; Saturday is the one day of the week where I get a lot of time to myself, so it's always nice and relaxing, and I get to talk to friends over instant messenger.

Sundays. Church, and then sometimes we go out to eat, then to the bookstore. ^_^
I'm able to get myself new manga most of the time, if I have money. :)

Of course I love my weekends, but I have adopted Monday as MY day. Nobody likes Mondays and Garfield gives it bad propaganda, so I have adopted it as MY day lest it feel rejected and get psychological issues. You know?

Saturdays. I get Saturdays off from work and it's a good time to get caught up on my Japanese studies or get engrossed in a good game.

Friday, because you've still got the whole weekend ahead of you!

As a kid, I hated Sundays (little heathen that I was) because it was the end of the weekend and that meant a loooong week of school ahead....and plus I always got sleepy after church and didn't feel like doing anything, which made it boring (especially when my parents got sleepy too).

I'm a Sunday fellow. Church, college/career Bible studies, and just a guaranteed day off work. (The place I work for has been wonderful to me for just letting me have my Sundays off. ^_^ )

I like something about every day of the week, but Friday is my favorite. There's always something fun to do in the evenings, and unlike Saturday you don't have to worry about getting up early for church the next morning ;) .

Saturday. It's my day of complete relaxation and great TV shows. ^_^ I look foreward to Saturdays every week! Fridays are also fun, because I can stay up later, and I can look foreward to Saturday, tomorrow. Sundays are good, because of church, and, on a less important note, I get to watch the episode of Trigun I taped at 1:30AM.

I used to like saturday 'cause I had all morning to do whatever and then church in the evening plus hanging at my dad's after the service ... I intensly dislike having to wake up in time for church.... because all to often I don't and then I miss out for the week so yeah sundays are just bad for me... that aside I currently love thursday because it's my last day of actually having to do things all day for the week and it's premium night so the cafeteria pulls out all the stops and gives us actual meat that hasn't been reprepared 4 or 5 times!

Saturday because it's the sabbath. I don't get to go to church here at school because I don't have vehicular transport. :( But at home...man. Hugs from the members and great discussion of the lesson and bible in my sabbath school class. When we have fellowship dinner, it's a great time to discuss not only bits of the lesson we didn't get to cover in class or wanted to talk about more, but also a time to talk about how life and school are going. Unfortunately, some weeks I go hungry then. ^_^; I can't eat grillers (vegitarian meat) anymore without getting sick. Can't even eat griller burgers. -sniffles- And then later that evening, to close out the Sabbath, we have AY. Stands for Adventist Youth and it's a singing/bible study time with fun bible trivia games. Currently trying to get the younger kids to learn the books of the bible. I don't know 'em all in order, but some of the little ones are doing way better than I could hope to. ^_^ AY was more fun when I was smaller, but it's still nifty.

That and there's no school on Saturdays. -sigh- Mondays I hate because, well, they're Mondays. :P And because that's when Methods is...-shudders-

hmm... I greatly enjoy Thursday and Saturday because of the evenings--I have Campus Crusade Thurs. and church with college/career age people after *that* on Saturdays. Friday is verra cool too, since I have only one class that day. I might start going to a cafe in town on that day as well.

Well I actually have more than one favorite day of the week.

Wednesday: Because I go to Bible study and get to fellowship with my buds.

Friday: Because I can talk to my friend who lives in Maryland longer than on a week day.

Saturday: Because YGO comes on

and finally Sunday: Because I get to go to chruch and mess around with my Youth Pastor in the Youth room!

My fav day is Saturday. My fav night is Friday, because I get to stay up late  Saturday nights I can't do that because, well, ya got church in the morning :eyeroll:

I'm afraid I can't say Sunday is my absolute fav day, because it's the day before Monday, which is the day that starts the long week of school. Bleh. :shady: That's why I'm trying to get as much work done now; it's no fun working your brains out Sunday evening on homework that's due the very next day :shady: When that happens, I feel like I didn't have a weekend! :waah!:

Couldn't have said it better myself. B/c it makes you look forward to the weekend and recuperation (since my job is physical). Friday nights i have to unload the Bestbuy truck :( But at least i don't have to goto school during the weekend, and i can catch up for all the missed sleep work and college but me through. And i've got the rest of the weekend to rest, play sports or hang out.:thumb:

Hard choice, actually...Hmm I think Wednesday is my favorite. ^_^ It's when my youth group meets and also, it's the middle of the week. I like the middle.

Wednesday! I thought I'd be alone in my choosing of Wednesday, but there's a few Wednesdayers here. Tuesday is the only day not chosen. Interesting.

Anyway, I like Wednesday because it is the day new comic books arrive in stores. I collect a few comic books, but those aren’t the reason for liking the day. The real reason is, that since I do collect a few comic books, I always go to the comic book shop on Wednesday and this comic book shop is also where I buy most of my anime, so Wednesday is also new anime day. The best day of the week.

My favorite day would be Saturday. It's the day that I pretty much totally have off, and there's not that feeling of the impending workweek that goes with Sunday (especially Sunday night). Good shows on Sat. AM, usually a FB or Basketball game to go to depending on the season, a relaxing evening.

Friday nights are nice too, especially now during Fall and HS football season, but Friday days aren't as great.

Favorite day would be Sunday, as I have NOTHING that I absolutely have to do. I can hang out at B-A-M or Hastings all afternoon without having to worry about work. My favorite night is Friday, as I can stay up until an indecent hour and get enough sleep afterwards.

Least favorite night would be Saturday. Work tends to run long, and there is church the next day.
