I've been a fan of Al for a long time.... though he does earn is "weird" title :D

Sadly I don't have cable so I don't get VH1 (somehow I get MTV2 on some weird UHF station, hmmm).

Has he got a new album comming out?

Yes! his new album was just released last month. Pick a copy up today! its called: 'Poodlehat'. He makes parodies of Eminem,Nelly,Arvil Lavin,Backstreet Boys, & loads of other funny songs. Also, when u buy the CD, it comes with multimedia bonuses, Homemovies when AL was a child. He is even weirder when he was a child  . Try checking more information @ weirdal.com

Aren't we supposed to be punishing the RIAA and not buying CDs?

All kidding aside... I'll have to check it out... anyone remember the VH1 specials from the last album... they talked about how each of his albums where like "comeback" albums, even though he didn't ever go anywhere?

Uh oh. :) Did I hear someone mention one of my favorite artists. I have to admit, "Free Delivery" is one of my all-time favorites. Right up there with "The White Stuff." (If you didn't like WS, then you probably don't remember hating NKOTB). Uh oh. Now the list goes on and on and on.

Oh, and then there's Bob Rivers, etc etc etc.

- All About The Pentiums
- Amish Paradise
- Hardware Store
- Angry Whiteboy Polka
- Alternative Polka
- Complacated Song
- Happy Birthday
- Mr. Frump & his Iron Lung
- Alberqurie
- I Remember Larry
- Saga Begins

- The Night Santa Went Crazy
- Another one Rides the bus
- Rocky Road

- Trash Day

And last...

- When I was your age

The lyrics in that song are the funniest! I have to post them!

WEIRD AL YANKOVIC LYRICS

"When I Was Your Age"

Let me tell you sonny... let me tell you straight
You kids today ain't never had it tough
Always had everything handed to you on a silver plate
You lazy brats think nothing's good enough

Well, nobody ever drove me to school when it was ninety degrees below
We had to walk buck naked through forty miles of snow
Worked in the coal mines twenty two hours a day for just half a cent
Had to sell me internal organs just to pay the rent

When I was your age. When I was your age
When I was your age. When I was your age

Let me tell you something, you whiny little snot
There's something wrong with all you kids today
You just don't appreciate all the things you've got
We were hungry, broken and miserable and we liked it fine that way

There were seventy three of us living in a cardboard box
All I got for Christmas was a lousy bag of rocks
Every night for dinner, we had a big 'ol chunk of dirt
If we were really good, we didn't get dessert

When I was your age. When I was your age
When I was your age. When I was your age

Didn't have no telephone, didn't have no FAX machine
All we had was a couple cans and a crummy piece of string
Didn't have no swimming pool when I was just a lad
Our neighbor's mseptic tank was the closest thing we had
Didn't have no dental floss, had to use old rusty nails
Didn't have Nintendo, we just poured salt on snails
Didn't have no water bed, had to sleep on broken glass
Didn't have no lawnmower, we used our teeth to cut the grass

What's the matter now, sonny, you say you don't believe this junk?
You think my story's wearin' kinda thin?
I tell you one thing, I never was such a disrespectful punk
Back in my time, we had a thing called discipline

Dad would whoop us every night till a quarter after twelve
Then he'd get too tired and he'd make us whoop ourselves
Then he'd chop me into pieces and play frisbee with my brain
And let me tell ya, Junior, you never heard me complain

When I was your age. When I was your age
When I was your age. When I was your age

I have friends who repeat that line far too often. Not that it's a bad one. Personally, I always remember:

Redneck on TV says:

"Guns dont kill people. I do."

Lennie:

"who wants to drink from the firehose?"
Kid: "Me!"
:kills him:

Weird Al: "Whats your name?"
Billy: "Billy," :spits in his face:

Off-topic, you reminded me of a cool shirt. It's white, and all it says on the front is: Guns don't kill people. Bullets kill people.

I thought it was funny.

I think that's right, but I haven't seen UHF in ages.

My favorite scenes in UHF were the Conan the Barbarian and Gandhi parodies.
"No more Mr. Passive-Resistance! He's out to kick some butt!"
Oh, and do you guys know who played Stanley Spadowski? That was none other than Michael "don't call me Kramer!" Richards.

Wow, this thread is older than I am. But at least it isn't grave digging. Thanks for the info Agent Anderson.

Al is apparently getting close to his next release, but there's no official word, yet. It could still be a while. In the mean time, though, they are releasing all 13 episodes of the Weird All Show on DVD in a couple of months!

LIVIN IN AN AMISH PARADISE IN ALBUQUERQUE!!!

Yes, Al rocks. XD
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

[Pink Floyd fan listening to Queen and hugging trees which is also known as taking care of God's creation with a pair of headphones on listening to Nightwish as loud as possible while writing a novel on a computer in the middle of a field filled with Wolves.]
