Many prayer requests, one of particular urgency...

Postby Destroyer2000 » Thu Sep 23, 2004 7:47 pm

I like asking others to pray for me, as it helps to the feeling of burden upon me, but then I dislike it because it makes me feel selfish. In any case, I have some prayer requests, and one of extreme importance to my family and I. That will be first, followed by the less important ones.

1. My grandfather. He went to the neurologist today, and found out that sometime in the past, he had a stroke, and his brain is shrinking. The doctor prescribed some medicine for Alzheimer's, though he doesn't have that. It's painful to watch my grandfather's health deteriorate, and knowing there's nothing you can do.

2. Strength for my family and I. Strength to pull through these hard times.

3. I have three important tests tomorrow, and I hope to do well on them...by well, I mean higher than a 90. They will most likely be the last chance I have to pull my average up, should it need it. I do not know what my average is right now, though...

4. My school is supposedly doing away with the College Prep diploma...thereby combining vocational and college prep classes. That will never work. The dropout rate will soar.

I ask that you pray for these things. They are putting alot of stress on my mind and soul, more than I would like.

ill pray for you bro and your family
Love is that feeling you get when a girl looks at you and it feels like your driving a car at high speeds and experience a sudden drop. You know what i mean? That sudden sinking feeling you get in your stomach? Yeah, that's love. Leave's you speechless everytime.
