our neighbors...

Postby ShiroiHikari » Wed Sep 22, 2004 11:07 am

this is going to sound really stupid, but...I've noticed that our neighbors have been gone for a while, like a week or more. but to be honest, I'm not really worried about them at all...I'm worried about the cat I saw looking out their bedroom window!! this poor cat has been locked up in that apartment for probably a week and it's just really, really bothering me...

what should I do? should I contact the grounds manager or something? I don't want the cat to die if I could have done something about it ; ___ ;

Maybe they asked someone to take care of the cat--like cat sitting or something. That's what someone from my church asked me to do.
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!

Well... wait til' night fall, dawn a ninja disguise, grab a lock pick and cat chow, and.... j/k

Are you about 90% positive there's no one hired or asked to check on the cat or the apartment? What kind of condition is the cat in, also? Does is look under feed?

I haven't seen anyone go over there and check on it, but there could be someone checking on it. the window was also open, so...o.O I couldn't tell if it was malnourished or not, all I could see was its head -_-

maybe I'll wait a few more days and if I don't see anyone around, I'll make a phone call.

It's been a week?! Shiroi, call the police. I mean, no one will get in trouble. Tell them you are concerned for some neighbors, whom you haven't heard from for a week and ask them if they'd meet you and check it out. Tell them you've seen a cat in the window, and no people.

Policemen are your friends. ;) So, please call the police. You never know what could be the problem - it could be a very innocent thing, such as the owner is bed-ridden and sick and just not coming out. You could possibly save someones life.

So, please call the police. :)

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

well, good news. some people finally showed up at the apartment about 20 minutes ago. I didn't see all of what happened, but at least someone finally showed up.
