Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I have been gone a few days.

So I need to catch up here.

First, Happy Birthday, MsShinobu. The background in your signature image always stands out to me since that is Gato's fighting stage background in Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

Happy Birthday, Destroyer2000. I apologize for my tardiness.

For the sixteenth of September, Happy Birthday, Anime-Emperor and Sunako.

....

Ah, I see. First, I would to thank the members who PM'd me. If you did not, I might have forgotten my birthday like I usually have done so in the past. And thank you all for posting about my birthday.

The reason I post in this thread often is that I know in my experience that a genuine expression of good intentions can sometimes make someone's day, and the impression can be even more powerful coming from a complete stranger.

As for how my day went (since so many have expressed their wish to know here or through PM), today was covered in clouds, heavy winds, and rain from the trails of Hurricane Ivan. I was working on an assignment all day and night. Furthermore, due to a lack of good sleep, I found it very hard to pay attention to my professors during their lectures, though I did hear them give a few assignments that I thought was pushing absurdity. I have also learned how to type with one hand and use the other to hold a hair dryer to dry off my soaked clothes.

This type of situation is not odd when it comes to my birthday, being busy with an unusual amount of daily challenges.

Regardless, I still would like to thank God for answering my parents' prayers 23 years ago to have a child, who just happened to be me. By observing and analyzing my parents' love for each other in their marriage, I was led to Christ, and thus, started to know Him. For that, I am thankful for that day long ago.

Speaking of my parents on a lighter note, during the late hours of last night, I received an e-mail from my father. As not-so-serious proof to show how close we are, I will show it to you (with names and e-mails blurred out, of course). He gave me an anime card with a characters from my favorite anime series of all-time.

Note: I do not know anything about the site that serves these cards and its content. So for the curious who want to look at the site on their own, you have been warned.

I have indeed read it UC, many thanks to you and Omega. I am very sorry I have not had as much time to post over these past couple of months. I have just been lurking when I could. Studying for the ACT and SAT are taking up much of time recently as well :shady: But I have made a couple of post this past week and I definitely hope to become more active as the weeks go by so expect to see me around :) Thanks again!

P.S. I got an email wishing me a happy b-day from CAA today. I must say that is a great little program you have. :D

Happy Birthday, Tamahome!!! ^_^

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.
