I never cared for traveling. I am pretty indifferent when it comes to viewing locales on this planet. So in terms of recreation, I would probably not go anywhere unless it is to visit my parents. With my left arm, I was trying to pick something off the ground, and I lost my balance. As I fell, I put a tremendous amount of my body weight into my left arm, resulting in a fracture. The fracture was not large, but it was still very painful.Sam*ron wrote:Ouch! Thats sounds painful, do you mind answering why?

With the right arm, some big jerk, who was knocking people down in a soccer game I was playing, came up and decked me as I was running with the ball. I fell on top of my right arm, which resulted in a large fracture. My arm looked slightly bent out of shape because of the fracture. In fact, the fracture was so large, the orthopedic surgeon had to completely break the bone at the fracture in order properly realign my arm. Of course, my right arm was on a tourniquet so I could not feel anything, but it was an interesting experience to see a doctor take my broken arm in his hands and suddenly snap it to make the complete break.

Yes, though I must emphasize that in my previous statement I am not referring to actually creating the sprites in the game. I referring to the pre-production phase where artists are drawing their characters in various poses and costumes on paper.uc pseudonym wrote:I am curious as to if I interprete your semantics correctly. Something very small and light. I think it was a pencil or paper clip. Like I said, I suddenly lost my balance as I was reaching down to pick it up. My loss of balance is what caused the injury, not the weight of the item.Sam*ron wrote:Ouch, what were you trying to lift!?

However, I feel the need to explain. Before I became interested in anime, I really liked 2D fighting games such as Street Fighter and King of Fighters, and I really like their character designs. Then, when I became intereseted in anime, I noticed the similarity between 2D fighting game and anime character design. Now, fast forward to several months ago. Back then, my father asked me on whether there is a way to take a photograph of my mother and pass it though an image editing program that will automatically "anime"-ize her image. I told him that I do not believe such a thing existed, and that only way to render her image in an anime fashion is for someone draw it. Afterwards, I personally felt that it would be interesting to draw my parents in this anime fashion, and while I am at it, I might as well draw them like they were characters in a 2D fighting game. This activity, where my interests are combined with drawing the people I love, is very appealing to me.
After some thought, I think should further clarify what I mean by drawing my parents as 2D fighting game characters to others who might reading this. Characters in this game genre, such as the cast in Guilty Gear X2, have unusual attire and really unrealistic, fantasy fighting techniques. Consequently, while there will be a definite likeness of my parents in appearance and personality, their fighting game character renditions will have attire and physical abilities they would never have in real life.uc pseudonym wrote:I would play a game with your parents as bosses, probably for that very reason. Sam*ron, I am not trying to be difficult, but what I typed earlier was my honest impression of you so far. I do not try to imagine what someone looks like if I have no prior information on their appearance.Sam*ron wrote:NO! I didn't mean like that! Goodness...

The whole sub-boss and end-boss structure is inspired from both King of Fighters and Capcom vs. SNK 2. The sub-bosses would be an opponent that a player will be guaranteed to reach if they have won the usual matches against other selectable characters. The sub-boss would be difficult to beat. Reaching the end-boss is not guaranteed since the player will have to beat all previous opponents and the sub-bosses in an impressive manner (and probably fulfilling milestones/objectives). Defeating the end-boss would be far more difficult than beating the sub-bosses.Sam*ron wrote:I noticed.. -_-]Oh, it is bad. Real bad.
