Praise and Job Interview Prayer

Postby Staci » Fri Sep 03, 2004 9:46 am

I would first like to start out by thanking the Lord for sending me various job opportunities that I am interested in. He has always been wonderful about meeting my personal wants and needs in this area even if He does make me wait a while and earn it. ~_^ I don't mind, though, because I will always love the Lord!

Anywhoo... I would like everyone to pray for me, please. This Tuesday, September 7th, I have a job interview at 12:15PM. It is an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position that I feel is highly suited for me and the skills I have learned over the years. Furthermore, the person I would be working for... She and I just clicked! We had fun chatting on the phone, we both understand where each other comes from, and she seemed highly interested in me even after my lack of administrative experience.

This is a temporary-hire-to-permanent position for the right candidate... I pray that I am! It's only fifteen minutes away from where Ben (my future hubby) works. Since we only have one car, I feel this is also another God-send because we wouldn't be that far apart to pick each other up from work.

Also, the lady is willing to work with me on my honeymoon plans. Benjamin and I are getting married September 12th and he is taking the following week off from work. My potential manager said even though she need someone ASAP, she would wait a week so I could have my honeymoon. THAT'S TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

Seriously... The Lord works in mysterious ways and in numbers, too! Three blessings in one job offering... That's more than I could ever ask for myself and it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.

Praise the Lord - He is wonderful, loving, forgiving, giving, and the best Father anyone could ask for. *wipes away a tear and gets off her soap box*

And Prayer for Staci!

It sure sounds like there is a lot going on at once.

You bet Ill pray! ;)

Oh, forgive me, but I jsut can’t help but ask when I see some one from NH.
Where do you live in NH? I live just out side Keene. ^_^
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Portsmouth? Cool Beans. ;)

I will pray that your wedding turns out great!

Is it going to be a big event, or small and quiet?

Small and quiet... Believe me... I'd rather elope but everyone and their brother wants to attend (otherwise they say they'll disown us) so we had to buckle and invite them. Oh well, should be fun. ^_^

Thanks for the prayers!

Matthew 7
7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
9"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

doesn't He truly look after our needs HE is truly worthy to be praised
