You remember that I mentioned Jessi in a former thread? Well now I'm bringing up her girlfriend.
we spied out her AOL IM address and are going to try to evangelize her. If we can do that, then Jessi will be completely crushed, destroyed, etc. She claims that anyone who has been homosexual at one point in their life and turns to the light is a liar, in painful denial, etc. If her girlfriend turned on her, it would be a very very good thing...

Personally... You shouldn't try to evangelize someone to spite another individual. You should try because you care and want to see them in the Lord's Kingdom after everything is said and done.

"If we can do that, then Jessi will be completely crushed, destroyed, etc."

It sounds like an attempt to hurt someone, in my honest opinion. If that is not so, please explain your reasonings further.

Although I understand where you're coming from due to one of your posts in the related thread (you believe that Jessi is an agent of Satan), I agree with Staci. Although I believe you don't mean to truly try to hurt someone, please explain further to clarify for everyone.

And everyone else, let's wait for frwl's response before passing judgment, okay? :thumb:

Regardless of all this, I'll continue to pray for the situation.

I mean her spirit would be.... "contrite" as the Bible put it. This isn't an attempt to hurt, but seriously it would challenge her mindset, which would be a good thing.

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]

Thanks for clarifying, frwl, and as I said before, I will continue to pray.

Likewise. I appreciate the clarification as well.
