I am totally obsessed with the upcomming game Half-Life 2. The Physics are AMAZING, the trailers made em WET MY PANTS (ok not really) this game is gonna be TOTALLY AWESOME.

It better be good. They've been working on it for long enough. I'd preload it but I'm not completely sure I'll be able to buy it.

Doom 3 was very impressive and I don't emphasize that midly, I mean it completely literal. But it was far too short but breathtaking needless to say. Half Life 2 looks incredible though and I can't wait for all the soon-to-released mods based on it, Counter-Strike 2 anyone ?
I think with this game and Halo 2 I've got a busy Fall coming up, gaming-wise.

dude half life 1 was the most disturbingly bloody/gory game i have ever played in my whole life. (tho not as bad as doom 1-3) Dude when you shoot people there skulls pop out and also htere hearts. When i played that game i think i barf like 3 times.

One of the main things I liked about Half-Life 1 was the Content Lock. Instead of enemies exploding violently, they "fade out" with content lock on.
I'm back to make a post or two every couple years...

its not the gore that gets me. Its the mystery, the tension, and the suspense! It could almsot be have a genre of horror! much like one of the mods, Half-life they hunger
oh, anyone play Counter-Strike: Source yet? it's CS with a half-life 2 mod. SSOOOOO AWESOME!
