okay so as yall know i try to keep things not so down and depressing even if they are, so yah. anywho, i have another friend, i know big shock i have friends(just kidding), and she goes to a pretty bad public high school, i'll leave the name out. an' ever since she started going she gone down deeper with the world. now she use to believe in God, but she doesn't anymore, she thinks being a homo is okay, basically everything the bible's not, kinda scary. she always talks to me 'bout her problems to just vent but since she's not a christian anymore i don't know what to tell her besides go ask your mom. now she's been my friend since 3rd grade so we're pretty tight, she's like my sister from another mother, that what she says to me, he he he. she has so much going on for her and i don't want her to blow it. please pray but try to make things a lil lively here. TANX!!! XD

If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. I know how this is. I have a close guy friend who just decided one day he doesn't believe in God. He, too, likes to "cry on my schoulder" and tell me everything that's going wrong in his life. But just because my friend and your friend "don't believe in God", doesn't mean we have to sit back and keep our mouths shut about God.

Whenever he comes to me with problems, I hear him out (which is really important, and you're obviously doing this right. So, um, good job.). Once he's told me everything he wants to spill, I just ask "Do you want to know what I think?" or "Do want me to give you advice." Which he does. Then I give him biblical advise. Afterall, who knows better than God how to handle problems? Wether he professes Christ or not, our friend are seeking us out because we have a Rock to cling to that they don't. Don't think that his rejecting God means you have a gag order. Jesus lives in you, so what you say will and should reflect him.

That would be my advice for you. I know it's REALLY tough. My friend simply drives me mad (mainly because he knows the truth and he won't act on it!!), but with our prayers, spirit directed words, and the actions of God in these people's life-- there's still hope for them. I'll pray for both you and your friend.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I thoroughly agree with Mangafanatic on this issue. Even if someone is not Christian, the Bible has loads of parables and morals to live one's life by. I would definitely arm myself with quotes from the good holy book and be ready for your friend the next time a "rant session" comes on.

And one more quick thing: sometimes people go looking for trouble just for the attention, mayhap this is what is happening with your friend. Just be there for them, show them you love them, and it will be good in the end. I'm sure the Lord is using you in His work with this issue. *hugs*

(Psst... PM me if you need any more advice or just wanna rant. I know the shoulders people cry on often need shoulders, too!)

If they're fries from McDonald's, I'll have some! With BBQ sauce, please!

Ahem... back on topic, I'll pray. (I'm liking your prayer requests doubled with humor requests, c.t.,girl!)

i will pray and here is a few verse for you.

James 5
19My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, 20remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

Galatians 6
1Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.

i agree with Manga confrunt the probleams with an answer from God. They know in there heart that there is a God. exsecialy if they were once Christians.
I used to "Follow" Him because i had to....now i would give everything to follow Him.

Me check it out!

she's still feels the same and she seems like she's getting farther and farther everytime. i don't want to loose her forever, but if i have to leave her and loose her as a friend in this life then fine. she scares me sumtimes *nuzzles face in hands and cries*. "God, oh God! please help her and me! it gets harder all the time!" *nuzzles face back in hands and cries* :waah!:

I'm sorry about your friend. Obviously the best thing to do is pray to God and trust in Him. If she's really falling deep into sin then you might need to get more aggresive on her, explain to her what she's doing wrong, and don't be timid or hold back. Now I don't mean follow her around all day quoting the bible, but sometimes people in trouble need a little wake up call. I'll pray of course.
