Out into the field...

Postby termyt » Sat Aug 28, 2004 5:09 am

I'm taking the church youth group, well actually, my church's youth minister is, I'm just along to help out, but anyway, we're going to the Golden Ticket award winning (for the seventh year in a row) amusement park - Cedar Point, in Sandusky, oHIo as part of the youth kick-off.

Please bathe Sandusky in prayer for our safety and also our spirits, that we may stay in tune with God's will so that we offer him praise whether it be in the long, hot, humid lines or the damp, rain soaked midways - which ever our Lord has in store for us today.

That was kind of a ramble, but thanks for reading it anyway and thanks for your prayers!

Thanks. We all had a blast. My feet are sore, but it was all for the good. Thanks for your prayers. It was a great day, even with a little rain.

Personally, I would rather have a little cooling rain than smoldering humidity and sun... ^^;;

Besides, the rain makes the lines shorter. (If you wear nylon pants or a bathing suit underneath your clothes it's a whole lot better when you get wet. I know soggy undergarments aren't fun so avoid them at all costs! LOL )

I'm glad the group had a blast, though!

I'm glad it was fun too. Thanks for letting us know how it went. :)
