AIM adding names without my permission
Aim is adding me to people's buddy lists, and adding names to my buddy list without my permission... I've gotten several IMs from people I don't know, asking me if I know them, and my buddy list has new additions I didn't add... Any clue why this is happening or how to stop it?

I think it's someone out there sending buddy lists to people because it's happened to me before. I've had people tell me that someone sent them a buddy list that I was on. it's likely someone that is or was here on CAA.

Someone TRIED to send me a buddy list (the guy said he was a hacker... I didn't realize all he did was harvest the screen names from the ) but I've never accepted one... Still, BTW its trillian that's doing this... I think it's making "buddies" from everyone in every chat room I go to, but the others have probably been getting them sent to them by someone...

^^; that's why I don't usually like to use trillian, its buddy list feature is...weird.
also AIM has this new "recent buddies" thing, is that thing bugging you too? I hate it.
