Grandia 2 rocks!! It's one of my all time favorite RPGs. Everything about it was great, especially the characters. The love triangle between Ryudo, Elaina (sp?) and Millenia was really well written. The music was awesome, especially the songs. I love RPGs with songs in them, so this was great. The second I saw that in-game cinema later in the game when Elaina sings Cancao de Povo I had shivers down my back and I knew this game was one of the best ever. The voice acting, as mentioned before, was really good. Cam Clark did a great job as Ryudo. He used to play Leonardo on that old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon, and he was Eddie in Silent Hill 2, Liqued Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series, and some dork with glasses in the anime Doomed Megalopolis. Random trivia, but Grandia 2 was made by the same people that made the Lunar series, which is why I think it's so good. YAY, Gamearts!
I've played Grandia 1 and I actully didn't like it that much. I thought it was too long and drawn out, the characters weren't as deep as Ryudo and the gang, and I didn't like the battle system at all; it was a rip-off of FF 2's system.
