LOL yay another mage! I'm on almost every night with my sister and usually Saint takes pity on us and comes to help us, lol. Where do you usually hang out? We should team up sometime!

Talking about sniping... i deleted my Rogue and started an archer. I see why they are one of the most popular (and cheapest) classes. I started a novice and got to lvl 40/30 in 6 hours. he can also deal out more damage than my others of a higher lvl??? whats up with that?
If i can help out Kokoro let me know i am usually on as -Saint- or =Saint=

Got back on my assassin for a bit little while and ran into a merchant selling a cheap Bongun egg.

So naturally I bought it. =3 Behold, my assassin Raiyuu and his loyal pet Bongun Crescent!

>.>; I'm really lucky I talked to the merchant who sold him to me - the guy was nice and said I'd need that 107 pet food he gave me....I did. @_@ I've had Bongun for a total of 5 hours and he's eaten about 30,000 zenny worth of food.

Oh that is cool! :thumb: But yeah I think all pets eat a lot. That's part of the reason I don't want one. But yours is adorable. Just adorable! lol, although is it proper for a male assassin to have a adorable pet? Hahahaha.

Oh and I know Saint and I have both been checking to see if you are on Sakray, but so far no dice! :forehead: Maybe we'll see on tonight.

 I don't see anything wrong with having an adorable pet - it's like a guy taking a poodle for a walk IRL. X3 I have, however, gotten a few rude comments on it from a few male players and had a few female players try to kiss/hug/glomp/bite/steal him.

What's your in game name, MyrrhLynn? I don't think I saw it in this thread - I'll try to PM you next time I'm on, especially since I've gotten a few levels on my mage and am close to wearing that Apple of Archer.

My mage's name is MyrrhLynn (no fancy little * or ~ or *~ like some people put on theirs). My mage is still really low, I think she's around 43/31, but at least I finally have firewall so killing stuff is going better.

Munaks and Bonguns are interesting pets to have... i don't like to put too much thought into it, haha. I hear a Hunter Fly is a fun pet to have to mess with Acolytes and stuff.

That would have been my second choice - I could walk right into the Graveyard and watch them scatter. ^.~

A lot of acolytes and priests go to Glast Heim's graveyard because they can use their heal to kill the undead monsters there. However the hunter flies there aren't weak to heals, so when one shows up all the acolytes run from it. (My brother's aco got killed by one, then it pooped on his body. >>; ) XD This opens up a whole new world of possibilities with a Hunter fly pet. >3

I love my sin (because any other 3 letter abbreviation of assassin doesn't work. XD). o.o I especially can't wait until they put in the Assassin Crosses, we'll finally get a move that does area damage! And cloaking off walls! >O< WHOO HOO!

Yeah I want a High Wizzard! We don't really get any cool new abilities just more points so now I get get other spells. :) Cloaking off walls would be nice though. Can you move around then like rouges? I haven't really read about any of the new abilites expect the High Wizzards. Now we just have to get our characters up to level 99. :dizzy:

Actually I have a thief now, but I don't know if I'll ever get around to getting her to Sin. (cause no way do I want a rouge!)

Personally I think the way they are doing the new classes (where you have to be level 99) is stupid. It's just going to encourage bots. I'll bet we'll see lots of hocus pocus "heal the boss to keep him alive so we can wail on his mob" parties too as everyone tries to get to 99. :stressed:

The thing that frustrates me is it's going to take 6 times as long to level up after you become Super Novice for the new advanced job classes *cries* It took me long enough to get my regular thief to assassin, I don't want to imagine how much misery I'll go through to get him there a second time! >.<; I'd just stay at level 99 for the rest of my RO career, but I REALLY want those new skills!

Me too, got any tips for Sin builds, Crit or Dagger? Some Vit or none? i once had started on a double dagger Sin and he was kinda cool. i was think of Crit this time, but what is good for WoE?

Hocus-Pocus... i wouldn't waste my time on that skill.. ;)

I have a feeling that when the new classes come out we will see lots and lots of novices getting tanked. Poor poor Kokoro Daisuke. :( We're so spolied on Sakray, I thought it took a long time to get to 50 job level, but I can only imagine how long it must take on Loki. x_x

I didn't need the extra skill points, so I let my assassin job change at 40. ;) I figure it'd be a smart thing to make all my characters that needed to go job 50 on Sakray. Yeah, I'm a lazy goodfornothing, I know.

Saint, I heard crit was the better assassin build for WoE, but I'm not sure. My guild on Loki just has me venom dusting people and playing emperium breaker, so now I've catered my build towards that. If you want to go crit for WoE you might need 40 vit, because I have 20 and if someone catches me, I'm dead reeeaaallly fast. I'm reluctant to put 20 more points into vit, because I could waste those on more agi, but I think the build I'll have by level 99 is:

str: 64 + 6
agi: 80 + 10
vit: 38 + 2
int: 11 + 4
dex: 27 + 8
luk: 68 (+ 2 with a bunny band)

i see, thanks for the tips Kokoro. i need a good WoE chracter... and a Crit Sin seems pretty cool. /// yes, i don't think it takes all that long to get to job 50 with a mage, but still, i bet it would be a lot less fun on Loki or Chaos. Sakray for me. XD

I got my Sage today, so i am working towards Hocus-Pocus. hopefuylly our guild can make a name for ourselves as just having a lot of parties and being fun. ^ ^

So i was checking out this new Episode today, Amatsu. Some new island place supposed to be like Japan-ish. :) Thats ok news and all, but what i heard is they are gonna "balance" out some skills at that time also. This is both good and bad news from what i hear. If true my brand new Sage is in trouble cause they are nerfing Hocus-Pocus. (with power cord or a Mistriss card you will only be saved one gem, so i still have to have a yellow for each time. -_- also the chance of summoning a MVP is lowered). what a pain.
the good news that sounded real cool is the upgrades to Sins. supposedly cloak will be able to move off from walls. varrous other imporvements, the "tunnel drive" cloak was my fav.
they also discussed Sin-X skills for the advance 2nd job. some that increase you walk speed at all times like Agi up or riding a Peco. cool. an area attack like Loki has from the Manga. and some new poison attack. you have to make the poison frist kinda like an alchemist createing potions. anyhow, if true they are testing these on kRO sakray. maybe... -_-
a glitch with the new advance enchant poison and new 16 hit sonic blow was said to deal 999,999 damage. sure it will be gone, but that would be a cool thing for the tester. lol.
what do you think?

The only things that I'm excited about is the new towns/dungeons and the cloak upgrade (>D I've been looking forward to it for a LONG time).

After the Amatsu patch, weapons will start breaking from battle damage - criticals give the highest battle damage to weapons, which means crit sins like me are sunk. :waah!: Apparently monsters will also recieve skills that have a small percent chance of breaking your weapons and armor. All weapons and armor can be fixed at an NPC for a price :shady:. I believe you can go to a blacksmith and get it fixed as well. Either way it's a bother.

Apparently they're going to be shuffling monsters around, too. Geffen Dungeon 1 will be getting hunterflies. Geffen 2 will be losing its Whispers and getting a Tirfing and a Dracula every hour, and Geffen 3 will be getting Deviruchis. Ridewords and Mimics are being added to Clock Tower :mutter:, and Prisoners are going to be taken from Graveyard and put in Glast Prison exclusively. mRO players I've talked to (they got Amatsu about a month before) say that the monster relocations won't happen right away, but kRO players claim that it's going to happen eventually. =/

I'm happy they didn't change Glast Church, as that's my choice level spot for my assassin, but my poor mage! He won't be able to deal with Ridewords and Mimics in Clock Tower! I also worry about my future thief/swordsman/merchant class characters. =/ Geffen 1 was a really good place to level up.

More good news... -_- anyway thanks for the info and link Kokoro. i will be a Sin by Tomorrow night. and a Crit one at that. do you think the Golem card could help? but that will take up valuable card slots. yet it protects a weapon from battle damage, is that the same thing?
