European beer =
American beer = :thumbsdow

(Sorry)

That's OK, I know many Americans who would, if they saw a Dutch beer standing right next to a Budweiser on the street would dash for the Dutch one.

Right now, I have an urge to go open up a bottle of Singaporean Empire Beer--but I'm underage and I have my principles. That, and I just don't like the taste of alcohol.

Hm...my mom is supposed to be getting me a sake bottle for my birthday, because I like the way some of them look. I want to stick my tongue to it for a minute to taste it, but not swallow it and just pour it out. That'd be the best, as my dad was once an alchoholic.

When I'm old enough, I'm going to try a SMALL quantity (probably no more than half a shot) of sake just to know what it tastes like.

I'm nuts.

Yes; yes you are are ;) . Sake is actually pretty god awful stuff, but try it anyways... Personally, I'd rather have a glass of riesling or a nice cold cider.

For those who are curious, the drinking age in Canada is 19.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.
