right now i'm reading stories for an extreme teen's heart...

i started reading this book awhile back but stopped. i started reading it again recently and now i wonder y i stopped before. i highly recommend it! the book is a compilation of different stories of Christ working in people's lives. here's an example of one of the stories that i read this morning and that i wanted to share w/ all u guys! i kinda summarized it into my own words.

today i read a story about a young man training to be in the olympics as a high diver. one day another young man started to share the gospel with him. he would share with him for hours about Christ then finally one day he asked him if he was ready to accept Christ into his life. he was interested in everything his new friend told him but replied no to the question. because he was training for the olympics, he had priveleges to the school's pool. he decided to swim one day. he stood on top of the platform to dive but suddenly felt Christ convict him. he thought about all the scriptures he had read about salvation. as he stood backwords on the platform ready to dive with his arms spread, the shadow from his body illuminated on the wall and he noticed his shadow was shaped like the cross. that moment he decided to commit his life to the Lord. right then the janitor turned on the lights to check on the pool. as the lights went on he looked down into the pool and noticed that there was no water to be found. if he had not accepted Christ that moment he would have surely plummeted to his death. the cross saved his life.

after i read this i got the chills. isn't God amazing?!!! there are more great stories like this in the book and i suggest everyone go out and find this book and let God bless you with each story! ;)

My favorite story from that book was the last one, "Cosmic Christmas" by Max Lucado. I read it years ago and it inspired me to write a fic on the Bible afterwards.
*Insert witty saying here*
