Grandma on the verge of death

Postby NeoMikey » Thu Jun 24, 2004 1:24 am

There isn't much for me to say....

Last night I found out that my grandma had gone to the hospital, and looked pretty bad. Today I got to see her, and she's in apparently deteriorating condition. Her lungs are filled with fluid, and according to my dad, we're "waiting for her to die".

She is 79 and not saved. I'm going in tomorrow in the morning to share with her the Gospel. I can only pray that she's coherent enough to understand me--her mind is slipping as well. I've been a terrible witness, and now it's the last minutes of her life.... Please pray about this situation, as well as comfort for members of my family (they aren't saved either). Thanks a lot, and God bless!

She's dying and isn't saved...
My God, my God... Please fill this individual with your words today... please open the eyes of his grandmother's heart to see and accept the light that is Your Son... Please Lord, if it is your will, save her...

My grandma passed away yesterday afternoon. I asked God to let me reach her, and though she wasn't physically conscious, I talked to her, and shared the Gospel with her. Only God knows what happened with her heart. Thanks to all who were praying.

I...somehow have a feeling she did.... On the day it happened, I went to her room before work and talked to her about the Gospel. Two hours later, she passed away. Only God knows for sure...but, even avoiding trying to be sentimental, I still have a feeling she made the right choice.... Anyways, I appreciate it everyone...for everything. Thank you....
