Why Do I Keep Getting Automatically Logged Out?!

Postby Lunis » Sun Jun 27, 2004 7:56 pm

Argh! Whenever I'm trying to write an extremely long and importand post, I press send and it says I'm not logged in! I have to put my name and password in, and after that, my post is nonexsistent! And I am always logged in! I quit out of the internet without logging out. And when I come back, I check to see if I'm still logged in, and I am! I even wrote a few posts before writing the long one, and it worked. It only logs me out if I'm doing a painsteakingly long post! I think it's trying to mess with my head. o_O

Thank goodness it's happened to me enough that I know to ctrl-C my long posts before sending them, just to be sure I won't lose it.

Yeah, that happens to me too. Its smart to always ctrl-c long messages before you send them, because you'll be inactive long enough that it will automatically sign you out.

Hey Lunis. ^_^

If this is happening to you, I would recomend checking the "remember me" box when logging in. This way your cookies will not be deleted after a certain ammount of inactivity.

I hope that helps. ;)

Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

First of all...hi, Kaji. ^_^

I think I have clicked the remember me box, because when I come in, I'm already logged on. But it still forgets I'm here. :eyeroll:

Well thanks for the advice you guys. :thumb:
