My Father In Law

Postby Rev. Doc » Wed Jun 16, 2004 8:10 pm

We got a call from my wife's mother a few minutes ago. It appears that my Father In Law has suffered from some mini-strokes. He is at home right now and is being monitored. To compound this he is also diabetic and suffers from Parkinson's disease. We would appreciate your prayers for him and for my wife and children as they travel up to see him on Saturday.

TIAs or small strokes? Did he have high blood pressure as well?

I'll keep him in prayer, Rev.

Not quite sure, I do not have all the details yet. Just what my wife got in a phone conversation last night. As far as I know there is no history of high blood pressure (although he is very high strung at times). My mother in law takes medication for high blood pressure so I always knew this was a concern for her. Again, I'm not sure but I think something was said concerning possible blockage in the Carotid arteries so I have a feeling there may be testing for that soon. Thanks everyone for the prayers.
