my old pastor died

Postby Hitokiri » Wed Jun 16, 2004 3:06 pm

I posted this up that my old interim pastor had a stroke. Well, this morning he was prounounced dead. For a few years he battled brain anerism and his last year was spent with us at my church, pastoring us while we searched for another pastor.

He was deeply loved in the church an dout of church in the community. The world ahs lost a great guy but Heaven has gained another child. He coudlnt wait to go to Heaven and looked foward to hearing the words "Welldone, faithful servant".

It hurts so much though...to lose him. I looked up to him and I respected him. I did all my crying and I'm still crying as I write this.

Just pray for the church, community, the lives he touched. I was devasted when I heard the news but thiers others who are even more devasted. Please pray for those such as his family and close friends.

Will do. At least he's at peace now.

I know that the greatest thing that a pastor could hope for is that he will live on in the example he set for you and others. My prayers are with you and the congregation.
