Whoa! Spoiler time! Spoiler time! Not that everyone doesn't know event in question, but still...

Yeah, I cried in Metal Gear 2 for MSX, and I cried in Metal Gear Solid, and I cried in FF7... repeatedly, mostly because Jenova kept killing me and I had to see the scene over and over... I cried in FF6 when
Cid dies and Celes attempts suicide
even though that scene doesn't have to happen, provided you know which fish to grab... I cried about Rachel (that's not a spoiler, because she's dead when you see her the first time...)

In Metal Gear 2, I cried when
That one girl is killed on the bridge by Grey Fox...
That was really sad...

In MGS, I cry in the
death of Grey Fox scene, even if he did kill that girl... You know, he turned around at the end...
I cried the second time I played through MGS2, when
Emma dies... So sad, particularly after I met a girl just like her...
I didn't cry, but I got very angry when
Olga died... They made it look like she was going to be saved, but he blew her brains out... Gah, I almost broke my friend's controller... I honestly don't know who's worse... Solidus was brutal, but Ocelot was annoying and brutal...
I cried when I found out that
The central cast of Chrono Trigger were all murdered...
I really cried on Silent Hill when
Lisa died...
I really got mad at Harry, too.
She wasn't dangerous, she just wanted someone to hold on to, but he locked her in and forced her to die alone... Sick coward...
I think I may have cried when Mary's full letter was read at the end of Silent Hill 2... And maybe in the Hallway scene, too. Can't say i felt a thing when
James has to kill Eddie
though...

I cried a few times in Chrono cross, besides the time I mentioned allready... I just don't remember when I probably cried when I got the not-so-good ending...

Um, it's not quite the same, but I cried in Super Mario Brothers the first time I found the warp zone because I thought it was a trap and I had to start over... I didn't know about going down pipes... Hey, I was 4 (or 5?)

Sorry, but no. I did cry watching Polemon the First Movie, though, and FXX nearly brought tears to my eyes as well.

I cried at the Ending of Klonea
With your doubt, all is comfort
We are all as we appear
No more questions left unanswered
No more wonder, no more fear
Nothing is beauty, nothing's feeling
Blood where there once was a soul
So I ask you, prove yourself
Make me believe that you are whole

I cried at the end of Zelda: Link's Awakening...
when the Wind Fish woke up and the whole island faded away, including all the cool people.
Then I also cried when I beat the game without dying once...
and after the ending, Marin turned into a seagull and flew away. I hope she returns to the mythos at some point...
Well were in the same boat :). I cry everytime I watch the ending to FFX. But the thing is...I'm a guy...I'm 19...and I STILL cry :p

Let's see any others?...Oh yeah I got a little choked up at the end of KH...when Kairi sees the drawing Sora made w/ the paupu fruit

I can't think of any game where I cried... I did get sad for major character deaths...
...infamous death of Aeris...
But for actual tear shedding..... Hm, all I can think of now is that I got very teary eyed at the ending of the old-school Lucas Arts (I *think* it was LucasArts...) PC game 'Loom'. It wasn't sad per se... just sentimental.

OOT for Bobtheduck:
Lisa never 'died' I think. She was there to drag Kauffman down to somewhere at the end of the game. Regardless, it was a very sad scene of her crying for help and just bleeding... I don't think Harry could have done anything though.
I almost cried in Chrono Trigger in 2300AD.
I also almost cried wondering whatever happened to Belthasar, but if anyone remembers, the only thing he says in the keepers dome is "Schala I've missed you so.... NO! You must not climb Death Peak... You would never make it anyway...."
If you've ever played Legend of Dragoon, you know how hard the Divine Dragon is to kill. I had been in that very battle for 3 hrs, yes, 3 hrs. Well, the DD was finally about to die when it decided used the DD Ball and I died instead. I was so mad I cried like a baby, and didn't play LoD for a month.

:waah!: I think we all cried when...
Llyod killed Lavitz with the Dragon Buster.
I also got mad and threw a pillow at my TV when I found out that...
Zieg has been pretending to be Emp. Diaz for the past 9,000 yrs, plus he's Roses ex-fiance, and Dart's dad.
However, I suspected all along that...
Rose was the Black monster and Shana was the Moonchild, or Virage soul. (How can some thing so incedibly evil be hidden in some thing so sweet and pretty for 18 yrs?)
Also...I cried when I reached the end of the 1st Spyro game. I didn't want it to end!!!

(Wow. It feels good to get all of that off my chest! )

Only video game I've come close to crying on was Sonic Adventure2 at the end, even with all that bad theology, it was still really sad.

The sadest game I have ever played. Not just one part. but the entire game. Put simply, it sucked. It's NOTHING compared to VII. Of course, those are the only two Final Fantasy games I have ever played, so...anyway.

I'm a pansy, I cry at the end of almost every video game. I even cried at the end of Donkey Kong once (though I had gotten 100% done and it was more over tears of victory than sadness.) Best video game for making someone cry has got to be when you FINALLY beat Morrowind (with all expansions.) I've done it two times over (working on my third.) It just never gets old for me. Well... that and the fact that it takes months to beat it FULLY.

So did I :sniffle: I thought that was so sad and ironic :waah!:

I also cried at the end of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time when Zelda and Link was talking.

In FF7 I don't think I cried but I really felt sorry for...um I guess this is giving away some of the story:
felt sorry for Cloud when he had that nervous breakdown--poor thing! :sniffle: I also cried when he finally figured out his true past (that he was a soldier and not "created") Clever plot by the way ]

Playing Halo on Legendary and Unreal Tournament on Godlike. Nothing will bring you to tears faster.

Also, being beat at Soul Calibur 2 by 6 year old made me want to cry...
