I don't feel comfortable abusing my job to convince young impressionable minds to join this website and most of my friends were members of CAA at one point or another so that's not really a source I can go to. Guess I'll just post some more reviews in the defunct review section.

Just start putting the site's address at the bottom of your material and we'll see what happens

That would be difficult since we're going to be meeting in person come September and I'm not a fan of hand outs (kills too many trees). I guess I could start including some sort of subtle message inside my messages. Maybe make it so that if you listen to my teaching backwards it says "Join CAA."

Hide it in one of your albums. Subliminal messages are old, but classy.

You're underestimating Skynet's capabilities Kali, it can multitask and watch all the anime while taking over the world. Shouldn't be too hard for it either.

Met a bunch of people IRL (LA area mostly) and had a good thing. I haven't even talked to any of them on Facebook in years, even the ones I got along with the most (Like, say, Cephas / Saint Peter / Not sure if he ever went by his real name so I won't use it here)
Facebook is a mess. Just full of noise. Forums like this are more organized, but Reddit is... Well, People downvote you for the dumbest things and while there were the fair share of unpleasant people here back in the day, I found a lot of people who I could talk to and had common ground with. I miss that. I don't know if it's possible to bring that back.

Peanut wrote:I don't know why this is all falling on me. Tell you what, I have some experience in door to door sales so why don't you and everyone else pitching me ideas join me in the the most effective way of selling any idea: face to face interaction. We'll come up with a pitch, grab some incredibly cheap tablets and start hitting some houses. I'm sure if we talk to enough random strangers someone will be willing to join.
Peanut wrote:You know what, all this talking about Resurgence on CAA is making me feel nostalgic. I don't think I'm the only one. So how would some of you like to hear the history behind CAA's greatest RP and the rather niche, tight nit community that erupted from it? If there's interest, I'll create a thread elsewhere to post what I've been writing up the past couple of days because this is sticking with me and I need to get it out of my mind.
