College in the Fall

Postby Otaku10 » Mon Jun 14, 2004 10:28 am

Well guys I just wanted to say that I am going to college in the fall. The college I am going to attend to is Tennessee Techincal University. It is a really good college and I have a full ride for 4 years with room and board payed off including books. The major I am going to take is Web Design. Thats right for you college people out there. There is a course for web design. Its pretty new and I have dibs of taking a new course early. :) So anybody whos know about web design give me a few neat pointers, I'll gladly take any. You can post here or e-mail me by asking me.

Congrats on the scholarship, Otaku! I'll be going to the University of Houston this fall as well, also on scholarship, though I'm not extremely sure what I'm going to major in just yet.

Congrats...when I first started college I had some scholarships...sadly mine were depleted this past year so now I gotta find a way to pay my tuition, guess I better start searching online huh ?

Web design...hmm that's neat, though if I were you, focus on another area too--not that web design is a bad field (It's certainly fun). Web designing has become a bit common these days...so maybe concentrate on getting a minor too, maybe in 3D animation or something.

And Ash...well my assumptions lead me to believe, math should be your major or you can always go economics. : P

Zedian, I'm in the same situation as you. Prayfully I'll pay the remainder of my tuition with some other method other than loans. And I pray that things work out for you too! :)

Web design sounds interesting but I'm not sure what it is exactly. I agree with the idea of minoring in animation because I think it'll help with your studies in web design (if its what I think it is).

Again, congradulations Otaku :thumb: Being a rising junior, I can say from experience that college involves a lot of hard work. But it can be VERY rewarding as well. Hope you enjoy it at TTU!
