New Here: Hi!

Hi, I'm new here to the CAA, and since I really laid down my belief in and life for Jesus, I've been yearning to find a niche in a Christian group. Since even before I was a believer I loved anime, I thought this would be a good place.

Something simple about me: I go to a public high school where there are few Christians, and my immediate family are unbelievers (but I'm praying for them - please pray with me, too!). I want to write a book someday to spread my faith, and I hope to muster the courage to be more open about my faith to my friends in real life. My conversion to Christianity isn't all that special; I initially started by looking into Christian apologetics after realizing how empty atheism really is, but I realized that if I was really going to get into the faith, I needed God to break down the roots of selfishness and pride in my heart so that I could truly love Him and live for Him.

So that's me. I'd be happy to meet any of you and get to know you!

I have several favourites. My first anime was Fruits Basket and it holds a special place in my heart,and Ouran, Attack on Titan, and Durarara!! would be among my favourites along with it.

I like any music, really, minus heavy metal and rap. My favourites are between classical, rock, rock-pop, ballads, some folk and country. If the song is meaningful and has a nice tune, I'll like it.

Oh, yes! Book! That's absolutely awesome, and I kind of have the same goal with a book I'm maybe kind of writing in my free time (whenever that is). You should share with us! Just don't get eaten by the angry shark critics. They haven't had anything to eat recently...
Durarara!!! Who is your favorite? Have you seen Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle? Because the future of humanity hangs in the balance if you haven't.

Oh, thank you! There's a forum here for writing, I noticed - I might share my ideas there. I'd also love to hear about your book as well. Maybe we could give each other some pointers.

Shizuo is my favourite. I adore him, because even though he's violent he doesn't really want to hurt people. I haven't seen Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (sorry that I failed you, humanity!) but I'll definitely put it on my list of anime to watch.
