On July 1, Canada celebrates Confederation, which united the Provinces of Canada, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia into one country.

On July 1, Québec celebrates moving day by having everyone move at the same time because everyone's leases in Québec starts and ends on July 1.

Bonne Fete Canada!
(Happy birthday Canada)

I didn't know that about Quebec. That's interesting.
And this I pray, that your love would abound still, more and more with real knowledge and all discernment. Be prepared to preach the gospel at a moment's notice. Do you know the gospel well enough to do so yourself? Be ready.

O CANADA, THE TRUE NORTH STRONG AND FREE

I wish all fellow Canadians on CAA (all three of us) a wonderful day full of great food and blowing stuff up.

Happy Canada to you too!

That sounds like it would be very chaotic on Moving Day (and moving truck companies would be rather bored for the rest of the year).

I shall be dropping by and visiting your fine country in a few months! Should be fun.

It is! My friends in Montréal always mention how insane it is and the New York Times has an article about it:

Wow, I didn't know that XD Seems rather ironic that a moving day would take place in Quebec on Canada day...or maybe it's actually a subliminal Seperatist message.

Actually, there's four of us. You, blkmage, Furen, and myself.

I had a good Canada Day, although I was very tired because I barely slept during the flight, and I then stayed up till midnight watching the fireworks. But I'm still happy to have seen them. It's been my first Canada Day in Quebec. No mention or signs of moving day, but maybe I was just too exhausted to notice.

Don't forget phantomeofanime. She's fairly new, so you might not know her.
And then of course there's me, who's like an honorary Canadian.

They have shewed thee, O teen, what is good; and what doth the world require of thee, but to fit in, be wealthy, have good looks, and be rebellious? -Peer Pressure 1:1

ClaecElric4God in regards to Wolfsong - You're the coolness scraped off the top of this morning's ice cream, after being pulled out of a beautiful summer day!

You remembered! :) (I was going to mention you, but looks like you did that already)

I didn't even have that click in... that's kind of cool, even though I wouldn't want to lose our french citizens, no matter how little I see them.
